2019 Beauty Favourites

It's time to go back through some of my favourite products from 2019. Unlike previous years, I don't feel like I tried as many new products this year as previous years. I was more focused on using products that I absolutely adored.
2019 was the year of find things that work and stick to those. However, there are some amazing products that I had to put together, particularly because I've dropped the ball on blogging recently.

BFF Skincare* : Let's start with the newest addition to my skincare collection, but probably one of my favourite ranges from 2019. I have already done a series of IGTV's on the range, and am planning on doing a blog post on the range soon, but I love their skincare so much. Out of all the skincare designed for acne, this range has given me the best results so far. My skin is clearer than it's been in a long time. The texture is smoother and make up sits so much nicer and I attribute so much of that to this skincare range.

Synth Lab Intl. Chill!* : Possibly the most intriguing product I used all year was the Chill! mask from Synth Labs. It made me feel like I was undertaking a science experiment at home. You mixed the mask yourself, froze it and then applied it. It is the perfect summer mask (I can't see myself reaching for it in winter), and I love how my skin looks afterwards. You can use it as a serum (which I do more frequently than a mask), or leave it on for 20 minutes as a mask. It helps reduce puffiness and relieve angry pimples (for me anyway).

Paula's Choice Azealaic Acid* : A new ingredient into my world this year and it changed the game for me. Similar to the BFF Skincare range, this booster helped clear my acne and skin texture, without changing any of my skincare routine. I love that you can add this into your routine without removing or changing your base routine.

Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Sleeping Mask* : Not new to me this year, but the love was reinvigorated. This was one of my first PR gifts from Mecca and I was so over the moon to have it in my life. I love how this mask refreshes my skin overnight and leaves my skin looking bright and glowy. Read the full review here.

Clinique Moisture Surge* : One of the best relationships I've developed this year is with Clinique and I feel so lucky to be able to try out a whole range of their products. My favourite range continues through 2019. I was fortunate enough to try a number of their new Moisture Surge products throughout this year and have fallen even more in love with them. Read the full review of the range here.

CeraVe Moisturising Lotion* : I don't know how many bottles of this I have gone through this year, but enough for me to know how amazing this stuff is. This moisturiser has been a game changer on my eczema this year. Nothing has helped to relieve and calm it down quite like this stuff. I have had very few eczema outbreaks this year, which is all due to this. Read the full review of the range here.

Make Up

Peter Thomas Roth Skin to Die For Mineral Matte CC Cream* : A surprising make up favourite with this one. I honestly didn't expect it to be as amazing as it is. Opting for lighter, more natural make up throughout 2019, it was the perfect base product to kick that off. Read the full review here.

Mecca Weekend Skin Hydra Skin Tint* : Along the same lines as the PTR CC Cream, this has been the perfect base for a light and natural base. It is a lighter coverage than PTR, but it helps to even skin tone and leave your skin looking fresh and flawless. It's my go-to base for the gym if my skin is looking particularly bad or if I just want to feel a little more confident. Read the full review here.

Clarins Bronzing Compact* : I absolutely adore the Clarins LE bronzers with their summer releases. They always have a gorgeous pattern, but the shades are also gorgeous. They are not super pigmented, so you don't have orange stripes on your face either.

Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge* : I have really fallen in love with cream based products this year, particularly cream blushes. Basically the only blush I have worn for the later part of 2019 is the Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge. I have one of the limited edition shades, but it is a close match to the shade 'Pale Pink'.

Briogeo Be Gentle, Be Kind Banana + Coconut Nourishing Superfoods Hair Pack : I picked this duo up earlier this year and have been loving it. Not only do they smell amazing, but they leave my hair feeling so soft and silky. Read the full review here.

Kevin Murphy Smooth Again Shampoo and Conditioner* : This is also a super new addition to my haircare, but I have been loving it! I haven't come across haircare designed for thick hair before, but this duo is specifically designed for it. I have thick hair and look for haircare products that make my hair feel light and soft, which is exactly what these two do. Stay tuned for a full review soon.

Tangle Teezer* : If you haven't tried a Tangle Teezer brush yet, you need to because they are total game changers. I always thought these wouldn't be for me because of my thick hair, but they are honestly the best. I have about five different brushes scattered around the house and they are all I use now. Perfect for detangling, brushing out curls for a gorgeous soft wave, or just your post shower brush.

There it is, my top beauty picks from 2019. Some reoccurring favourites and some newbies, but all get the big tick of approval from me. What have been some of your favourite beauty products from 2019? Let me know in the comments below xx
