Hey, I’m Laura, and welcome to my little corner of the internet!
I’m a photographer, content creator, beauty lover and self-confessed chocolate addict who started The Life of Laura back in 2016 with one simple mission: to share real, honest thoughts on the products and things I genuinely love (and occasionally… don’t). What started as a beauty blog has slowly grown into a space where I chat about everything from skincare and makeup to lifestyle, travel, and the everyday moments that make life feel good.
I’m all about keeping things real. No gatekeeping, no fluff, just the kind of reviews and recommendations that actually help you decide whether something is worth your time and money. I test products properly too. Most things get at least a month of trialling before I write about them, unless stated otherwise. And yes, I always disclose gifted items and give completely honest feedback. You deserve nothing less.
When I’m not trying a new serum, photographing something pretty, or writing up my thoughts, you’ll probably find me hanging out with my two border collies, Becks and Ghost, who bring a mix of chaos, sass and endless cuddles into my life.
