Kosmea Skincare

"When I started Kosmea, I wanted to change the way people cared for their skin by bringing innovative, natural products within everyone's reach." - Marie Kapetanakis (Company Founder)

Beginning as an Australian natural skincare company, an now an International success, they founded their skincare their skincare on the healing properties of certified organic rosehip oil. Maria was driven with a vision to be the leading skin care company in the world. Kosmea uses the highest quality natural ingredients and will never compromise on this. You can trust that with every Kosmea product you use, it is made up of completely natural ingredients of the highest quality.

I have been trying an assortment of products from Kosmea recently and to save you reading an essay, I wanted to share three of my favourites with you today!

Certified Organic Rosehip Oil

The world's original and finest Certified Organic Rosehip Oil. Rosehip Oil is packed with beneficial vitamins and antioxidants. Kosmea's Rosehip Oil is designed to be easily absorbed into the skin providing numerous benefits for your skin. It may help to smooth wrinkles, even out skin tone and even help reduce the appearance of blemishes.

Something I found interesting about Kosmea was how to apply the Rosehip Oil. Instead of applying to dry skin, they encourage you to apply 2-3 drops to slightly damp skin. Why damp? Because having mildly damp skin supposedly helps the oil absorb quicker into the skin. After trying both ways, I have to agree. When my face is completely dry, I tend to feel like an oil mess for a while, where as that didn't last as long when my skin was damp.

As for results, I have to say I was very impressed. It is probably one of the best Rosehip Oil's I've tried. Big claim, I know! However, it is the first time I've noticed that Rosehip Oil has helped with my acne scarring. While I didn't notice a reduction in new blemishes, I did  notice that my skin cleared up quicker, and the scarring from those annoying angry ones, has started to disappear. That is one of my biggest pet peeves with my skin and I've finally found something that actually helps. Aside from that, it leaves your skin hydrated to the nines, but not like an oily mess (if you apply to slightly damp skin!). Thank you Kosmea, I am in love!!

Kiss From A Rose Lip Balm*

I should start by saying I have never been a huge fan of rose scented/flavoured products. I don't know what it is, but I'm just not. I was a little bit unsure of this lip balm when I realised that it was rose scented, however I've been pleasantly surprised!

Kiss from a Rose Lip Balm not only leaves lips hydrated and softened, but it also adds an extra touch of romance thanks to its beautiful rose fragrance. I have to agree! It makes my lips feel so hydrated and soft, and it has quickly become the lip balm I reach for when my lips are chapped and dry. While it does smell of rose, it is not over powering. It just adds a nice little touch to a very good, hydrating lip balm. It includes Rosehip  Oil and Vitamin E, both which help to plump and moisturise chapped lips. Definitely recommend this for anyone who is always suffereing from dry lips!

Hydrating Rosewater Toner Mist*

Experience an instant wake-up call with Kosmea's Hydrating Rosewater Mist. The cooling facial spray revitalises and rehydrates tired skin for an invigorated feeling. Use it every day, take it travelling, or even pop it in your handbag for a mid day hydration burst, it is perfect for everything. Despite being rose infused, the scent, much like the Lip Balm, is not overpowering, but actually quite refreshing.

I am slowly become more of a fan of toner mists, particularly throughout summer. A spritz of this before moisturising just leaves your skin feeling refreshed and hydrated. I used to be super skeptical of how a mist can hydrate your skin, but it really does leave your skin feeling hydrated. I also find a little spray over my make up throughout the day helps refresh my skin when it's getting a bit dry, or tired. It also is refreshing for the senses, when you're feeling a bit over the day. You can also get a mini one in Kosmea's trio packs, which is perfect for the handbag!

Those are my three favourites so far. I have been using a few other products, including the Rescue Body Cream* and Natural Foaming Cleanser* which I have also been enjoying as well. If you're looking for a good range of natural skincare, that won't irritate the skin, but actually help, than I definitely recommend Kosmea.
