If you have missed the news, Urban Decay has released a brand new Naked Palette! The Naked Heat and boy is it beautiful! If you have always wanted to create a smoky sunset on your eyelid, well now is the time! The was a pre release on Mecca's website yesterday morning, so if you missed out I thought I would share my thoughts with you in case you are still on the fence about it.

June Life Update

I haven't checked in with you guys for a while, so I thought it would be time for me to just let you all know what has been going on in my life, and also some changes that will be coming in July as well. And here is a photo of a pretty bunch of flowers from Mr TLOL to appreciate while you read:

Hydrated Skin = Happy Skin : Moisturisers

Welcome back again! It is time for the last post in my Hydrated Skin series. If you missed Part 1 (Cleansers) or Part 2 (Serums) make sure you head over and check them out. Today, however, it is all about the moisturisers. Moisturisers are key to hydration, if you ask me. If your moisturiser doesn't help hydrate your skin and seal in all the nourishing elements from your other skincare, what's the point?! I have also popped some of my favourite hydrating masks at the end as well.

Hydrated Skin = Happy Skin : Serums

Welcome back, beautiful people, to part 2 of Hydrated Skin = Happy Skin! This mini series is all about my top skincare picks for hydrated and happy skin through winter.

Part 1 was all about cleansers, and if you haven't read it yet, well you should probably pop on over. Today's post is all about serums and face oils to keep your skin as hydrated as it can be. Serums are probably my favourite way to keep my skin hydrated. Finding the right serum for you can be a real game changer. I have been lucky enough to find a number of fantastic serums that have been doing wonders for my skin lately.

Hydrated Skin = Happy Skin : Cleansers

Winter is well and truly upon us and if your skin is anything like mine, I'm sure it's already suffering. As someone with naturally dry skin, I have to seriously step up my hydration when winter comes, otherwise it's flaky and gross and I'm just a mess. Hence my three part series (starting today!) that includes all my winter essentials. So if you are in need of some good, hydrating skincare then you've come to the right place! Today's post is all about my top cleansers for winter. Thursday's will include my top picks for hydrating serums and oils. Concluding on Sunday with my favourite moisturisers and hydrating masks to keep your skin happy through winter.

The Best Body Scrubs in Australia?

It's no secret that I have been a fan of Scrubba Body for a long time now! You might remember back to a blog post last year featuring their Citrus Coffee Body Scrub* and how much I loved it. Well since then they have released so many more amazing products and scrubs, taking simple coffee scrubs to a whole new level! That is without even mentioning their candles and goat milk soaps (which are also phenomenal).Today I want to talk to you about some new scrubs they have released in the past few months, which I have been so excited about.

Essential Fragrances

I remember a time (maybe 8 months ago) when I had one perfume that I would wear all the time, never changing from that. It would be Mariah Carey Dreams and nothing else. However, over recent times I have accumulated a number of new fragrances and thought it was about time I share my essential 4 perfumes with you!

Bear in mind, that all of these scents are quite different from each other and I honestly didn't expect to like all of them as much as I do. Also, if you don't already know, I suck at describing how things smell, but thanks to the brands I am going to do my best to describe them all. But enough chit chat, let's just get into it.

Winter Hydration with Hydroskin

While sweaters are probably my favourite item of clothing, I hate winter. Why? Because my skin never handles it well. It ends up dry, flaky and just not very enjoyable. To help attempt to prevent, or at least minimise this, I go all out on the hydration, particularly in my skincare. Hyaluronic Acid has become a key ingredient in so many hydrating skincare products at the moment and I have been loving it. So, naturally, when I was given the chance to try some products from HydroSkinCare I couldn't pass up the opportunity! I have been using these products for about two months now and thought it was about time to share my thoughts.

Autumn Wedding Flowers

I apologise that it has been so long since my last wedding post, I feel like I have been a little bit lazy on the wedding posts lately, but I thought it was about time for another one. This one, as you could probably tell by the title, is all about the flowers, which is what we are starting to lock in at the moment. I know, the wedding is just under 12 months away so it seems a little bit weird to start planning wedding flowers now, but we thought it might actually be the perfect time, to see what flowers are actually in season during May.

Affordable Foundations || My Top Four!

It has been a long time since I have used a drugstore foundation. A few years ago I was sworn off them after a severe allergic reaction. Also, nothing lived up to my high end foundations at the time, so I just decided that it wasn't worth it. However, earlier this year I started hearing amazing reviews on a number of affordable foundations and I decided it was time to dive back into the drugstore foundation pool to see whether they had improved since I lasted tried them. I wanted to share my current top four affordable foundation options with you, as I have been so impressed with these lately.

Braun Satin Hair Brush 7

While winter means we can whip out the knit wear and indulge in as much tea and hot chocolate (with alllll the mini marshmallows) as we want. We also have an excuse for super hot bubble baths. However, winter also brings a number of issues for our hair. Static, straw like hair ruined by the wind, split ends and dry, itchy scalp. Today, I want to introduce you to my winter hair saviour, and also offer some of my top tips to keeping your hair silky soft through winter!

Trash Talk || May Edition 2017

Alright, can someone tell me where the year has gone? I blinked and May has been an gone and now Winter is here and I already want it to go away. However, it does mean it's time for another Trash Talk, and I know how much you guys love these posts, so let's just dive on in.

Let's Talk About Vagina's! || Vagisil ProHydrate

Let’s talk about vagina’s! I bet that’s not a statement that you expected to read this morning, but now that you have, let’s talk. Vagina’s are something we ladies don’t seem to talk about often enough, especially when it comes to issues and irritation. Today I want to break down that barrier and start the conversation.
