Speaking of loving K-Beauty make up, it's time to introduce one of my new favourite brands - Touch in Sol - a brand which allows you to discover the secret of Korean Beauty.
Touch in Sol was founded by Sean K Lim, who aims to bring the best in K-Beauty technology to you, with a positive message and cheeky attitude. Using highly advanced formulations from the capital of Seoul, means all the products are cutting edge, with great colour pay off and more!
I have been trying out the collection lately and wanted to share some of my absolute favourites (because we'd be here forever if we talked about them all). Stay tuned for a little (or big) giveaway at the end!
Touch in Sol has a couple of skincare products, including two different cleansers and a moisturiser. I have been a huge fan of the moisturiser! The Beauty Aid Cream is perfect for those who aren't blessed with flawless skin, which let be real...is most of us. It is simple, easy to use and will give you a burst of hydration, without that greasy thickness lots of hydrating creams have. It just melts into the skin, repairing and nourishing the skin. It includes Ceramide 3, and no less than six botanials (including Shea Butter, Olive, Hazel and Walnut Extract). It is amazing. I am a big fan.
Touch in Sol have a number of base products to help prep your skin for make up. If you want a glowy, amazing looking skin, then I'm A Very Useful Make Up Boomer* is for you. It is a pearlescent cream that can be used in multiple ways. You can use it as a base or primer to even out skin tone, and give you that 'lit from within' glow. Alternatively you could apply it onto your cheekbones, or other high points for a bangin' highlight. Or you could mix it into your BB cream or foundation to give you that glowy look. It is so beautiful and not glittery like lots of highlighters and is amazing for whatever you choose to use it for. There are two other types of base products like this one, the Feel Like Honey Moon* to give dry skin a quick boost of hydration (honey is perfect for that) and Toc Toc Toning Capsule* to even out and tone the skin, resulting in a bright glow. Essentially there is one for every need.
They also have a couple of different primers available. The first one is for those with oily skin. The No Poreblem* primer is perfect for oilier skin types. It has a matte type feeling, without feeling suffocated or dry. With green tea extract and collagen, it protects and smooths the skin, to keep it looking healthy and keeping your make up still all day. I can vouch for that, I was so impressed by how well my make up lasted and how good it still looked at the end of the day.
There is a second option for a primer from Touch in Sol. This option has three different options (sounds more confusing then it is). The Dark Out Long Lasting Primers* come in three different colours - bright purple, fresh green or pure peach. They are designed to hide dark circles, reduce redness, brighten the skin and also provide a UV block. All of that in one product! My particular favourite is the Fresh Green, which helps to reduce the redness in my skin (which I get from acne) while prepping my skin. The best part is, while they have that colour correcting component, they aren't so pigmented that you look ridiculous. So many green primers leave you looking like an ogre, but these don't. Again, they work wonders for keeping your make up in one place all day. Plus SPF protection - always a must!
Moving on to my favourite products now! The foundation type products! So Touch in Sol has every type of foundation product you could want - BB and CC creams, a cushion compact and then of course an actual foundation. What I love best about all of them is they feel like I am not wearing any make up at all, yet give me enough coverage that I am not worrying about my blemishes all day. AND they work amazingly for pale skin tones. It's what I've been wanting all my life! I am only going to share two of my absolute favourites, but I am loving everyone single one of these of them!
In The Skin Renovation BB Cream* is an amazing BB cream. It is designed for people with oily skin, though I find it quite a dewy looking BB cream once it's applied. I don't have oily skin, so I can't comment, but it's a very natural looking dewy coverage. I has lavender and chamomile, to calm the skin, but gives you a flawless, even skin tone, without any blotching or caking throughout the day. That natural look you get in the morning, it'll look just as good at the end of the day. This has become such a staple for me. It has a light to medium coverage, but is so pigmented that I find that I don't wear much at all. There is also the Pure Dew Water Drop BB Cream if you want a super hydrating BB cream as well.
As for CC Creams, you have two different options, both changing to suit your skin tone (like magic). The CC Moisture Veil Compact which is a pink coloured CC cream, that reminds me of a sponge. It does take a little longer to apply than the BB creams, as you do need to wait for the colour correction to happen. Then you also have the beautifully packaged, cleverly named Corean Complexion CC Cream which comes out as a white liquid, quickly changing to suit your skin tone. I have never used a proper CC cream and I was presently surprised by these. They have the lightest coverage, in my opinion, of all the Touch in Sol products, but are also the most clever. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for a light, natural coverage.
Their actual foundation, the Flawless Skin Top Coat* is the perfect product for all skin types! It is a lightweight foundation, that comes in a dropper type applicator. There are a number of ways you can apply - drop it directly onto the skin, brush or a sponge, whatever you feel more comfortable with. I use a mixture of all three. I was amazed the first time I used it, I was amazed by the coverage. I would almost argue that this is a full coverage foundation. I did feel that it had quite a matte finish when I first applied it, but in saying that it didn't feel dry. My skin still felt like it was able to breath and feel comfortable, but I didn't get that shine that some full coverage foundations give. I think this would be amazing if you are going to an even that uses flash photography! It blends easily, and exactly like the BB creams, it feels like I don't have anything on my skin. It uses blueberries to moisturise the skin while you are wearing it as well, so you don't get to the end of the day and feel like your skin is dry and done with life. It claims to stay for 9 hours and I would say that it does exactly that.
Alrighty, now the bit you've all been waiting for - the giveaway. The lovely people at Touch in Sol have been ever so generous and offered two FULL sets of Touch in Sol products to giveaway.
