New from Innoxa

Nothing excites me more then new make up releases and recently I have been playing with a few from Innoxa, including a new foundation, highlighter and eye palette. Let's have a look...

Innoxa was founded in France by dermatologist Dr Francois Debat, who believed in treating every being gently. From the beginning the Innoxa philosophy has been First Do No Harm.
With a century long dermatological heritage of nurturing and regenerating, Innoxa constantly evolves to deliver a wide range of skincare, colour and body products to address your specific needs. Innoxa takes inspiration from nature and uses it as wisely and economically as possible - utilizing plant, mineral and marine extracts, and bio-engineering what we can so that our precious ecosystem can remain intact. As a result, our skincare products are a perfect example of the happy union of science and nature. What's more, they really work. Best of all, they do not test on animals.
But enough about the brand, let's get into the products.

Lift and Firm Foundation*

Specially formulated for the needs of mature, dehydrated and stressed skin, offering weightless, long lasting coverage for all day wear. Enriched with skin lifting and firming ingredients to improve elasticity, this oil-free formula also contains Vitamin E to intensely hydrate and moisturise the skin.

There is nothing I love testing more than a new foundation. I was really intrigued by this foundation. Containing Vitamin E it is designed to keep your skin looking and feeling hydrated all day. For someone with dry skin, particularly through winter, I loved the sound of that.

I prep my skin how I usually would (skincare, followed by my fave Smashbox Primerizer). I then use about two-three pumps on the back of my hand and use a beauty blender to apply it to my face. I do find the pump a little bit sticky and hard to use from time to time, but otherwise the packaging is really nice. It is a medium, buildable coverage that feels light on the skin. I was really impressed with both the coverage and the natural finish of the foundation. It leaves my skin looking flawless and natural. It isn't too glowy, but isn't matte either.

As for lasting power, it lasts extremely well and I find that aside from a little bit of wear around my nose and mouth, it still looks really lovely, almost as good as when I applied it. I tend to not use setting powders, I might spray a little bit of MAC Fix+ Spray* to set, but otherwise I don't really do a lot to set my skin, as it often makes my skin look dry. So, naturally, I was really impressed by how well the foundation lasted. It's definitely going to become a favourite.

I do have to say that the shade range is a little lacklustre. There are only five shades and if you are pale or have darker skin. I wear the shade Ivory, which just works for me. With a tan it is perfect, without a tan it is verging on the too dark side of things, but it's not so bad. It's probably the only negative I have about the foundation though. I have been loving everything else.

Natural Radiance Highlighter Stick*

Get up and glow with three iridescent, sheer shades to highlight and enhance the complexion. Non-glittery and enriched with Vitamin E & Argan Oil to intensely hydrate and moisturise the skin.

I am really starting to get into cream products. The more I fall in love with natural make up, the more I start to love cream based products. I am yet to find a highlighting stick that I absolutely love though. I find they are either too glittery or not pigmented enough to give a nice highlight.

The Innoxa Highlighting Sticks come in three shades - soft pink, pearl and champagne. I think the pearl and champagne shades are my favourite. Soft pink is a little bit too cool toned for my liking. The formula is creamy and blends into the skin really well, while still sitting on the surface to create a glowy finish. It isn't glittery or too shimmery. It is hydrating and leaves your skin looking so glowy and gorgeous.

I apply the highlighter stick by essentially drawing it onto my high points. I then just blend it out with my fingers. It is a buildable product that you can draw on heavier and blend out lighter if you want more of an intense highlight, or blend out more for a more subtle highlight. You can also top with a powder highlight to make it pop even more.

Eye Lift Palette*

This all-in-one kit is designed to prime, contour, define and brighten the eye area, creating a more youthful and lifted appearance. Features a primer to smooth the eyelid area, neutralising powder to minimise the appearance of discolouration, contour powder to sculpt the crease of the eye, highlighter to illuminate the eye and arch of your brows, and a defining powder to create depth and dimension.

This palette looks very simply. It consists of an eye primer and four simple coloured shadows (brows and nudes). I wasn't sure whether it would be a practical palette or not, but I am starting to fall in love with it. When I go to work I don't like to have too much make up or an intense eye look. What you can do with this palette is contour your eyes to look bigger, brighter and more awake. When I am feeling particularly tired or when my eyes are a little bit puffy, this simple palette can help to make them look less puffy and more awake. The primer is really lovely as well and I have actually started using it with all the shadows I put on my eyes. This palette has become more of a favourite then I expected it to be!

I have been loving all three of these products. I can't say that I have many negative thoughts about them, and I am not being paid to say that (it's sad that I feel like I need to say that haha). They are lovely products that can be used to create a really natural make up look - glowy and gorgeous. The foundation is definitely becoming a favourite of mine!

Have you tried any of these? Or any other Innoxa products? I would love to hear about your favourite Innoxa products. Let me know in the comments xx
