A Little Bit of Zen

Mabel and Co

I don't know about you, but I am always in need of a little bit of Zen in my life and I had the perfect pack arrive on my doorstep last week that reminded me that I need a little bit of Zen. So let me introduce you to Mabel & Co.

Mabel & Co.'s is a beautiful Australia brand that creates simple Body Scrubs, Bath Salts and Candles. They have a timeless range inspired by a beautiful life shared between three generations of women. Mabel - (mey-buh l) - means my beautiful one, and beautifully represents their vision.

Zen Kit*

If you want to try some of Mabel & Co's products but don't know where to start, then one of their kits might be the perfect option. Inside the Zen Kit you get three beautiful products to test out. It essentially makes the perfect pamper session, with everything you need to take some time for yourself, away from the chaos of the day.

The first product inside is the Ylang Ylang and Sandalwood Body Scrub*. They are a beautiful creamy body scrub that exfoliates and scrubs away dry, flaky skin, leaving you with soft, hydrated and silky smooth skin. The Ylang Ylang and Sandalwood scent is a rich, deep, but floral scent that is almost sensual. It is a deeper scent then I would usually choose, but is a really lovely alternative to the sweeter scents I typically use. Mr TLOL is also a big fan of the scent - it is a great unisex scent, that's for sure.

The body scrub itself is beautiful. Creamy and gentle, perfect for those days when you just need a gentle scrub to buff away the dry patches to get super soft skin. The best part about it is that it leaves your skin feeling soft and hydrated. That is one of the key aspects of scrubs for me. Having drier skin, I want something that will help to reduce dryness, without stripping my skin of the minimal hydration levels it has left. It is a really beautiful scrub, that's for sure.

Next up is the Himalayan Bath Salts*. If you have been following me for long enough you will know I LOVE a good bath and I have been loving bath salts recently, particularly Himalayan Salts. I find they are just the most relaxing way to soak. They help relieve muscle pain, rehydrate the skin and are just fantastic for a relaxing soak. I love how gentle they are on my eczema as well. You simply add 1 to 2 cups of the salts to a warm bath and soak your worries away. This has definitely gone done a treat with me!

Finally, the perfect addition to an aromatic pamper experience, is of course the candle. Inside the Zen Kit you get a Lemongrass Candle*, a citrusy and zesty scent that is refreshing and revitalising. If you want to be transported to a tranquil place of Zen. It is the perfect candle when you want a revitalising and uplifting scent to go with your bath. Also, can we talk about how beautiful the design is - a simple, white jar with a lovely wooden lid. It is just simple and gorgeous and I love it.

The best part about Mabel & Co is that their products are made in Australia and are natural, paraben free and not tested on animals.

My initial introduction to Mabel & Co has been an extremely positive one. I am absolutely loving these three products and I can't wait to try more from them in the future!
