Spring with Sisley Paris

Sisley Paris Phyto-Ombre Eye Shadow

Now that spring is finally starting to kick in a little bit more (I need we finally hit 18 degrees the other day woo!!) it's time to keep experimenting with the spring make up. Today I want to take you through some spring make up looks with Sisley Paris.

Before I show you some looks I have created, let me take you through a couple of my favourite spring inspired make up products.

First things first, lets begin with eyes...

Phyto-Eye Twist in Emerald*

I am not usually a green eye shadow fan, but in my adventure to be a little bit more adventurous, I decided to try it out, also everyone says green goes really well will brown eyes, so why not! I love eye shadow pencils, they make it so easy to do your eyes. The best thing about this pencil is that it can be used as an eyeshadow or an eyeliner.

Sisley Paris Phyto-Eye Twist

To create a make up look with this, I simply took this pencil all over my lid and under my eye as well. I then just take a fluffy brush and blend out the edges, to give it a slightly softer look. Then I take a black kohl pencil and line my water line, just to define my eyes a little bit more. It is really as easy as that. For someone who isn't hugely adventurous with her make up, I actually really enjoy this look and how easy it is to create, plus it matches my gorgeous new green shirt! I think this might be a fun one to wear on a night out.

Photo-Ombre Eye Shadow

Don't stress if pencils aren't your thing, do not fear because Sisley Paris have some beautiful single eyeshadows as well. I have been using a couple of different shades in the Photo-Ombre Eye Shadows including Sky Blue*, Garden Rose* and Ultra Violet*. I love how pigmented the shadows are. These three are creamy and slightly shimmery, but just look beautiful on the eyes. I have been particularly loving the Ultra Violet under my lower lash line, with the Photo-Ombre Glow* on my lid. Again, another really different look, but one that I have been absolutely loving for going out, or for a special occasion.

Photo-Ombre Glow*

I don't know about you, but I like to have a little bit of shimmer or glitter in my eye looks, I feel like it just takes the look to a whole new level. Well Sisley Paris still has you covered with probably my current favourite eye shadow. The Photo-Ombre Glow shadows are ultra-soft, velvety texture which is easy to blend in and offers long lasting coverage and leaves the eyes looking radiant.

I have been looking this as an all over lid colour, or using it in the corner of my eyes as a bit of a brightener during the day - just something to my make look more awake. They a really lovely formula and are pigmented and really buildable. I have been using the shade Pearl* which has a beautiful warm, golden colour to it and I think is just perfect for the warmer weather.

To finish your eye look off, you need a good mascara. Something that makes your lashes look full and fluttery. Something that can work as an every day mascara, but build up to a gorgeous, falsies look for in the evening! I am always very picky about mascaras, and as you might have noticed I rarely talk about many. I have my favourites that I will talk about again and again and again, but very few new. So when I find a new mascara that doesn't smudge and looks beautiful, I get so excited! I have been using SO CURL* from Sisley Paris and it is the I find it does take a little bit of effort to use - I have to do more layers to get that super full look, but I like that I can do a couple of swipes through my lashes for during the day, and with just a little more effort I can get the most gorgeous full, lash look. It also has vitamin-rich Peptide and Arginine to make your lashes look and feel stronger and healthier.

So eyes are now complete and looking beautiful, it's time to move on to finishing off that base and making your skin look absolutely gorgeous. I have two favourites that I love to use in my base...

Phyto-Touche Illusion D'Eté*

We have just come out of winter, and I don't know about you, but I am looking as pale as ever. So naturally, I need something that is going to make my skin look glowy and gorgeous and like I have had a really nice tan. The Phyto-Touche Illusion D'Eté* is kind of the answer to all my prayers at this point. It is an ultra-gentle bronzing gel-powder which in a single gesture gives a natural sun-kissed complexion to pale skin tones and illuminating tanned skin. I sweet this across my cheeks, jaw bone and my hair line to give that gorgeous sun-kissed look. It has a bit of a shimmer as well, so your skin looks so glowy too. The gel-powder formulation also helps with the glowy look as it doesn't give you that flat/matte look some powders give you.

Also, can we appreciate the packaging?! The mirror is huge and the compact is just beautiful. Sisley, you have nailed it!

Phyto-Blush Twist in Petal*

Blush is something I love to revamp through spring. Winter is full of the dark, moodier blush shades, where as spring should be much lighter and pinker.  Basically, everything that Petal is. I simply apply the cream-to-powder blush to the apples of my cheeks, and blend out with my fingers. The thing I absolutely love about cream blushes is that you can blend them out to as subtle a look as you want, or leave it with a brighter pink. It is so much easier to control and work with if you ask me.

If you need an easy lip colour too, this works great as a subtle pink lip. Chuck it in the hand bag and it doubles as both your cheek and lip colour - win win if you ask me!

To tie everything in, you need a good lip colour. Move away from the dark, winter lips, and pull out those coral, pinks and orange lips this spring...

Phyto-Lip Twist in Coral*

Another Phyto Twist, of course there is a lip to go with all your other Zebra patterned products! I am obsessed with chubby lip pencils. I just find them so easy to apply!! Phyto-Lip is tinted and pigmented like a lipstick, hydrating like a balm and shiny like a gloss. it helps to soften, hydrate and plump your lips, all while looking gorgeous. I have been loving this coral lipstick, which is a shade I usually would not choose, but like I said I am trying to be more adventurous! They are just so comfortable to wear and actually last surprisingly well. Coral is the perfect spring colour too, a bright pop of colour that can be tied in with a beautiful coral spring outfit. I can just see me standing in amongst the flowers of Floriade with this number on.

Hydrating Long Lasting Lipstick in Tangerine*

I think have saved my absolute favourite product for last. I mean, just look at how beautiful it looks!! I think this is the most luxe lipstick I have ever owned. It comes in a beautiful velvet pouch and has beautiful detail on the actual lipstick. Again, it's another bright colour, but I think it is going to be perfect for spring. As much as I wanted to never touch it and keep it in it's beautiful pristine shape forever, I also couldn't resist trying it. It is a comfortable, hydrating, full-coverage lipstick which protects and softens lips all day long. And boy is it comfortable! I think Sisley just really knows how to do lipsticks, because it doesn't even feel like you are wearing a lipstick!
