Probably the most exciting thing to happen to Canberra in a long time, the launch of the Monaro Mall opening. This new space is home to a beauty and wellness precinct with an exciting new range of internationally renowned and local brands and services.
I may have snuck over to the opening (shh don't tell uni!) to see what the new precinct had to offer and I wanted to share with you all the beautiful things I discovered!
So what can you expect from the new Beauty and Wellness Precinct? It is so beautiful, you can expect a high end, luxurious experience to shopping. Marble walls and floral decorations everywhere. Canberra finally has a gorgeous, Instagrammable shopping experience. I love it!
You may have seen the artwork that has become the 'face' of the new Beauty Precinct. All of this is designed by Nick Thomm, a New York based Australian artist, who has
created a vibrant masterpiece inspired by the idea that the world's understanding of beauty was changing taking, has taken over Monaro Mall. It is so unique, but gorgeous. If you get a chance to check it out, I highly recommend it!
There are a number of newcomers settling into the beauty precinct including Endota Spa,
Lavender Nails, T Brows, SeoulFlower The Floral Society, Passiontree
Velvet, Top Juice and Espresso Room, plus a collection of beauty brands
who are coming to Canberra for the first time – Mecca Maxima, Jurlique,
Perfect Potion, APSU, Inglot, 3INA and Eden Laser Clinic.
Including that, there are a number of stores well known to Canberra that have moved here, including L'Occitane, Lush, The Body Shop and Aveda. While Muse Boutique has been apart of the Captial Chemist so far, they have opened their own store in the new precinct as well.
I definitely put a dent in my wallet and picked up plenty of products from The Body Shop, Mecca Maxima and Seoul Flower. I also got plenty of freebies, including a little cosmetic bag from The Daily Edited with my initials on it. A bunch of freebies from The Body Shop, as well as plenty of samples from other stores. I'll share more on all of those soon!
Want to do something exciting to get involved in the Beauty Precinct? Well there are plenty of Master Classes being run this weekend that you can get involved in. Make sure you book your ticket to secure your place. There will be drinks and refreshments, as well as a goodie bag.
