Beach Road Naturals

If you've been reading my blog since at least the beginning of the year, you will probably remember my love affair with Beach Road Naturals Body Bars. Well I was lucky enough to receive some of their new products and I just had to share them with you!

As you might recall, Beach Road Naturals are created in Sydney's picturesque Northern Beaches, inspired by a love for the ocean and travel. To create the highest quality products, they carefully select ingredients which will enhance the look and feel of your skin. I absolutely fell in love with their body bars and have already worked my way through two of them (I also gave the third to my partner, because he loved them so much when we were away), so I was already in need of some replacements anyway!

Body Bars

Beach Road's body bars are uniquely made from an antioxidant and moisture rich pure coconut oil base. This unique composition makes them really luxurious and helps to create a creamy lather unlike anything else on the market. They have a variety of body bars to suit every skin type and need, from fragrance free, to essential oil and fragranced products.

I absolutely loved the Coconut Oil basis in these, I found it worked absolute wonders on my skin, leaving it hydrated and feeling squeaky clean. Plus it was amazing on my sensitive skin, not irritating it at all. Beach Road has now added some new Body Bars to their collection, as well as redesigning the packaging, and making a bigger size as well (YES BIGGER, HOW GOOD IS THAT!)

They have added an Organic Coffee* Body Bar to their range, which adds a really lovely exfoliation into the mix. Using their wonderful Coconut Oil base, they have now added ground, organic Australian coffee as well. It gives you the same amazing lather, but with an added level of gentle exfoliation as you wash away the day. I am loving this bar, I think it is such a good way to really get rid of that dirt and grime without the harsh scrubbing feeling that some exfoliants can have. Plus you'll be sure that you are squeaky clean afterwards!

They have also added an Organic Sea Salt* into the mix, again for a gentle exfoliation as you soap. I love both this one and the coffee, but find I tend to go for the coffee in the morning (the scent just wakes me up a little bit more) and the sea salt at other times, but hey I kind of want to use them both all the time... I have found that the Sea Salt is a little more subtle in exfoliation than the coffee, with finer grains, but I still feel like I am getting a really nice scrub (or massage....) when I use it!

Of course, they still have their classic Body Bars which are as amazing as ever, and my personal recommendation would be to go for the Kaffir Lime or Paw Paw, or any in all honesty. They are all so good!

Body Oil

Another addition to the Beach Road family is a Body Oil! Coconut Oil into a Body Oil? It definitely seems like the next logical step if you ask me! It is 100% natural and fast absorbing to leave your skin feeling hydrated and restored. Its concentrated formula revitalises and invigorates the skin with essential vitamins, minerals and nutrients for an improved, radiant appearance.

So the ingredients? Coconut Oil, Jojoba Oil, Macadamia Oil, Vitamin E and Sweet Almond Oil (all organic and natural of course). So many oils!! But it does make for an amazing scent, that's for sure.

I have never been a huge fan of body oils. I just find them so....oily! Yea yea...I know, stupid response Laura. But I have never liked that greasy feeling that stays over you and goes on everything you touch. This oil, however, is not like that at oil. I was honestly so surprised the first time I sprayed it, and thought 'did I do something wrong? Did nothing come out?' because it honestly does soak into the skin so quickly. While there is a level of 'oiliness' from the body oil, it's not that uncomfortable greasy feeling that so many body oils have. It just felt like I was using a moisturiser, but I didn't need to rub it in!  Again, because of the natural products and Coconut Oil base, it doesn't irritate my skin at all. This is definitely going to be amazing through winter.

Hand and Body Wash

This is, perhaps, my favourite addition to Beach Road's store! Beach Road Naturals Coconut Oil Body Wash is rich in moisture and antioxidants. The base is purely derived from coconut oil and is suitable for all skin types. The nourishing and restorative properties of Vitamin E and Chia seed oil combined with Organic Coconut Oil will leave the skin deeply moisturised. The unique composition of pure coconut oil derived surfactants delivers a noticeably more luxurious lather, leaving your skin feeling beautifully soft and smooth. And before you ask, yes, just like all Beach Road's products, they are free of palm oil!

I have been using the Organic Seat Salt* both in the shower and just as a hand wash by the sink, and I LOVE IT! The scent is so refreshing. I have had people comment on it when they come out of the bathroom after washing their hands in it, by how simple, yet lovely the scent is. They also have a Kaffir and Lime and a Paw Paw Extract scent, which are my two favourite Body Bar scents, so I have to get my hands on them next! Also, can I just say, while $25 might seem a little pricey for body wash, the bottle is HUGE and will last you forever. Plus there's no nasties in it, so it's worth every dollar.

Beach Road just keeps doing it, I am constantly amazed with their products, and I'm not just saying that because they have been so generous to me. They are seriously one of my favourite Australian brands and can do no wrong in my books. I will definitely be living on these Body Bars for the rest of my life, and will probably keep them in business forever once I get through these lovely samples!
