Furless Cosmetics Couture Body Contour Make Up Brushes

Furless Cosmetics is an Australian company that sells high quality make up brushes, as well as make up and other beauty accessories. All products from Furless Cosmetics are completely vegan friendly and they have products that will suit every person and budget. They promise to never sell you a cheap, ugly, scratchy brush, EVER!

I have never tried Furless Cosmetics before now, but I have also heard nothing but good things about the brand so it was on my 'to try' list. I have been lucky enough to try out the Limited Edition Couture Body Contour Make Up Brush Kit* recently and I wanted to share my thoughts on these beauties with you.

This kit features brushes with high tech bristles made using the latest in faux-fur technology to mimic animal hair and consists of four brushes designed to to be used to contour all over the body and face. There are four different sized brushes, from the big one designed for highlighting larger curves, to the little one which are meant for the trickier crevices.

My first impression of these brushes was to just brush them all over my face because OH MY GOD they are so damn soft. I want to sleep in a bed a of these brushes, that is how nice they feel! They are really light, yet they are quite dense (though not as dense as some of your foundation brushes for example). I don't tend to use a lot of dense make up brushes, but I have found that these apply product really well. The two smaller brushes are best for the face - I've been using the second smallest one for both contouring and highlight and it's perfect! The two bigger ones are the ones I've found harder to use. The second larger one does work for setting powder, though it is a little too dense for my liking and I find that it takes foundation/concealer off my blemishes when I apply the powder.

I have honestly never tried brushes for body contouring, probably because I have never really done any body contouring. I have been giving it a go with these brushes to see how they go for all parts of the body. The two bigger brushes work so much better on your body! I have been using them to accent my d├ęcolletage, particularly my boobs and collar bone. I use the smaller brush to contour and the bigger ones to apply powder and highlight. They work much better for the larger bits of skin.

The denseness works really well for picking up product and they do an amazing job of that. One swipe of the product (depending on how pigmented your product is) is often all I need.

The Verdict:

These brushes are a winner for me. They are completely different to anything else I own and I think they will come in handy in summer when I start wanting to show off a little more skin. They are incredible soft and it is already making me want to go and buy ALL of the brushes Furless sells. They are completely vegan and feel extremely luxurious and high end. I will definitely be looking at purchasing some more Furless Cosmetic products in the future (any suggestions?)
