Dessata Hair Detanglers

You know what sucks? Trying to brush wind tangled hair, or just knots in general. It is suck a pain!! My hair is thick and I have a lot of it so knots are just a pain all the time in general. I have been trying out one of the Dessata Original Detanglers recently to see whether detanglers are a good way to detangle hair (ha ha I just wanted to see how many times I could say detangle in a sentence...) Just get to it Laura.

Dessata*

Dessata designs brushes that are supposed to detangle your hair quickly, without effort and the need for other products. They claim to not break or pull your hair and can be used on alllll hair types. On one detangler there are 440 triple length flexible bristles which are going to take all the stress from your hair. The bristles won't break over time, won't cause static in your hair and leave it looking shiny! So I put it to the test and have really enjoyed the results.
Due to the horrible wind that is perpetually constant in Canberra, my hair has been so knotting recently, so I was super excited to try these out. This brush makes it sooo easy to brush and detangle my hair. Unlike my usual hairbrushes, the Dessata leaves my hair looking light and shiny. It even gives the same look on my second day hair! (My usual hairbrush usually just makes it look worse and heavier and uhhh). Dessata's detanglers make it easy and I haven't had an issue with knots since I started using this.

The bristles definitely don't look like they are going to break, but a couple hand bent a little since I started using it. There are sooo many bristles that I don't think this will make any difference to the effectiveness of the brush, but this is my only concern with the product.

They come in sooo many different colours, so you can easily find the one that suits you best. There are also two sizes. I've been using the Original size, which fits so perfectly into my hand, but they also have a mini one which would be absolutely perfect for your hand bag. They range in price from $26.95 for a mini to $32.95 for the original size and they are totally worth every dollar!

  1. I've been hearing so much about this brand in the last few months, but having bought a detangling brush recently (The Wet Brush) + some other normal hair brushes, I sort of feel like I don't NEED another one. I won't lie though, I do WANT one of these - rose gold por favor!
