As a beauty creator, I get the absolute pleasure of trying lots of new and different products. I think the true test of if a product is good, is if I actually want to go out of my way to repurchase it once it's empty. So let me share you the products I tried in 2025 that I will be bringing with me into 2026.
Tower28 Swipe Serum Concealer
I was a die hard Kosas Revealer Concealer girl for a LONG time. I was gifted some, but repurchased many more. In 2025, however, I discovered a new concealer love, from Tower28.
The Tower28 Swipe Serum Concealer is 'weightless, easy to blend and has a skin-like natural finish that doesn’t cling to dry patches' (as the website says!) and it has the perfect coverage to cover redness and blemishes, as well as brightening under the eyes.
I'm onto my second tube of it now and will continue to repurchase it. At $38 it is one of Mecca's more affordable concealers and I swear by it!
Jane Iredale Lash Fixation Length & Definition Tubing Mascara
I might be the pickiest person in the world when it comes to mascara. Mascara smudges really easily for me, so I only use tubing mascara now, and the one that I keep coming back to (despite trying to branch out) is Jane Iredale's Lash Fixation.
It gives length beautifully, I get SO many compliments on my lashes when I wear it. It adds a little bit of volume but not too much. It doesn't give that spidery effect when you put too much mascara on either. Best of all, no smudging whatsoever.
Naturium The Glow Getter Multi-Oil Body Butter
There hasn't been a body butter that I've fallen in love with the way I fell in love with this Naturium one in a LONG time. It's formulated with a blend of natural aromatic extracts with a vanilla and coconut scent that smells INCREDIBLE. I'd wear this as a body mist if it was available.
It's thick and buttery, but melts into the skin. Leaving you feeling smooth and hydrated without that greasy or heaving feeling. I feel like I've been using it sparingly because I'm trying to force myself to use up other body lotions first. But this is stuck firmly in my brain and I'm already ready to purchase another tub.
NYX Micro Brow Pencil
My number one most finished product across 2025 was a brow pencil. I probably went through close to one a month, potentially because I love a micro pencil so there's not much product in one.
The one that I keep coming back to is the NYX Micro Brow Pencil. The colour and pigment pay off is good. It's easy to use and blend out if you over do it, but also lasts well. But if I'm honest, the reason I REALLY love it is it's available. Full price its about $20, but you can often find it half price at Priceline or Chemist Warehouse.
Shisedo Benefiance Wrinkle Smoothing Eye Cream
This is a product I didn't want to love, but I really do. I've never used an eye cream and actually wanted to keep using it. If I am honest, I have let my eye cream use completely drop off the radar in the last few years, until this little pot of gold showed up on my door step.
Now she's pricey, I will give her that, but I love how smoothing and hydrating it is on the skin, and the scent does something to me too, I think it reminds me of the skincare I used to sneakily use from my mums cupboard when I was a kid. While I don't have huge dark circles or the biggest fine lines under my eyes, I am starting to notice ageing creeping in. What I like about this is that it creates a really nice, hydrated base for make up to go on to, and its been helping my under eyes feel more plump, less weathered and I do feel like I am noticing a brightening effect too. So it's one that I think I actually will repurchase!
