Gorgeous Gorgeous Girls Wear Sunscreen \ AD

You know what trend I’ve loved from the past few years? Sunscreen. It’s so exciting seeing sunscreen become a cool to wear and watching formulas change to actually be enjoyable to use.

Today, I want to share with you an exciting new sunscreen launch that I’ve been absolutely loving!! Let me introduce you to Bali Body’s latest launch – their SPF line. I’m sure you are no stranger to Bali Body if you’ve been a long time reader and follower, but for those who aren’t, Bali Body is an amazing Australian brand that makes some of my favourite fake tans. I was so excited to see them branching out into sun protection as well. Now I can have my healthy glow, while also protecting my skin.

The line includes three products – a Hydrating Face Sunscreen, Body Sunscreen and a Face and Body Spray. They all offer UVA and UVB protection with SPF 50+ which is perfect for the Australian sun. The whole range is also fragrance free, so perfect for all skin types.

Let me share about each of them though…

Hydrating Face Sunscreen

The Hydrating Face Sunscreen is a fluid formula that is designed to be lightweight and hydrating, which I’ve found to be exactly the case. It is light and absorbs into the skin, so if you are after a facial sunscreen that doesn’t have a greasy or overly glowy finish, then this is perfect. It is also enriched with Vitamin E and Glycerin to nourish and hydrate skin.

It’s such a beautiful formula that would suit all skin types. I find that it is hydrating on my dry skin, but has a satin to matte like finish (without looking or feeling matte). It looks beautiful under make up, not disturbing or affecting the finish of makeup.

I would say I’m rather picky about facial sunscreens. I don’t want anything that feels too much like sunscreen – I like lightweight, almost moisturizer type finishes, which is exactly what this. I’ve been really enjoying that it is hydrating but not greasy and then it doesn’t have that sunscreen smell you usually associate with an SPF. The packaging is so cute (look at that pastel blue!) and the pump makes it super easy to use.

Hydrating Body Sunscreen

Much like the face sunscreen, this formula is lightweight and hydrating, without feeling greasy. The packaging is very similar to the face sunscreen, but just a bit bigger. It’s a slightly thicker consistency that just absorbs into the skin leaving the skin looking and feeling hydrated and nourished. The formula is also water resistant for up to 80 minutes.

The formula is enriched with Vitamin E and Aloe Vera to hydrate and soothe skin. I do find that sunscreen can, at times, irritate my eczema and leave my skin feeling uncomfortable. I like the addition of Aloe Vera into this formula because it is gentle and soothes the skin while you wear it.

Hydrating Body and Face Sunscreen Spray

Out of all three, this might be the product I was most excited about. It’s another lightweight and hydrating sunscreen formula, but in a spray form. It is also enriched with Vitamin E and Glycerin to help keep skin soft, smooth and protected. It is also water resistant up to 80 minutes.

This has been somewhat of a game changer for me so far. I have to admit, I am TERRIBLE at reapplying sunscreen. I’ve gotten really good at applying SPF in the morning before I leave, and I sometimes reapply body sunscreen if I know I’m going to be outside a lot, but that’s about it. I know, I know…I’m trying to be better. This has already started to help me. Because it is such a lightweight spray, it’s easy to reapply throughout the day.

To apply to my face, I just close my eyes and mouth and spray all over. If I have makeup on, I just use a beauty blender to press it in and then touch up as needed. If I don’t, I just lightly rub any slightly thicker bits into the skin.

To apply to the body, I just follow a similar process – spraying all over the skin and massaging in if needed.

I like that it feels like nothing to apply but is actually really hydrating. It feels refreshing to use throughout the day and I could see this being a great way to cool and refresh the skin if I’m out in the sun. It’s so easy to use and feels so nice.

The range really has won me over. I’m always look for sunscreen that is enjoyable to use and makes me actually want to apply and wear it. They do say the best SPF is the one that you want to use and these three are what I want to use.

If you are interested in trying the products, I’m excited to say that they are available now to purchase. Head over to the Bali Body website (by clicking here) to shop the whole range and get free shipping while you’re at it.

If there is one take away that you can leave with today, it’s that you should be wearing sunscreen. And if you’re still on the hunt for some that are actually nice to use, then I cannot recommend this range enough!
