Lucy Diamond // One Night in Italy
After going to Italy last year, I kind of love anything Italy. I am also a big fan of Lucy Diamond, her easy to read books are perfect for when I need a break from life. So combining both of these, and then seeing this book for $10 online, I HAD TO BUY IT! I am so glad I did. It tells the story of three lovely ladies who have reached a hard point in their lives and kind of revolves around Anna discovering that she might have an Italian father. If you're a romance or chick lit lover, this is one for you!Sarah Wilson // First We Make The Beast Beautiful
Sarah Wilson, bestselling author and entrepreneur, intrepid solver of problems and investigator of how to live a better life - has helped over 1.2 million people across the world to quit sugar. This book is a look into the world of anxiety and how it has affected her and the fierce battles people can face if they suffer from anxiety. Ultimately, she re-frames anxiety as a spiritual quest rather than a burdensome affliction, a state of yearning that will lead us closer to what really matters. I don't suffer from intense anxiety, but like many people I have suffered bouts of minor anxiety here and here. I found this such a great, eye opening read. I have never read something that frames anxiety so positively and so well. I am a big fan, and highly recommend this to anyone and everyone, despite whether you have anxiety or not.Lauren Oliver // Replica
Another Young Adult Science Fiction novel. While I probably no longer fit into the Young Adult category, I still love reading YA. I am also a big Lauren Oliver, so I was definitely excited about this. It tells the story from the point of view of Lyra and Gemma after a surprise attack is launch on Haven Institute. Start with Lyra. Whatever you do, don't start with Gemma, you must start with Lyra if you choose to read this. They are both telling the same story, which I think is genius, but I found that if I had of read Gemma first it would've ruined bits for me, though I guess it's up to you. While there are some similar dialogue in both stories, I think it was so well written and actually written really cleverly if you ask me!Estée Lalondone // Bloom
My style and beauty icon. Estée is my idol and love and a big inspiration for me, so I picked this beautiful book up the moment I saw it in store. It is her story of navigating life and style.'For me, the word "bloom" encapsulates the idea that anything is possible when you put your mind to it. It's a word that hints at becoming who you are meant to be.' Estée shares bits from her life, about moving to London to be with Aslan and starting her blogging career, sharing her highs and lows and it made me love her even more. It is a biography for people who don't love biographies, set out so beautifully with gorgeous photos spread throughout. Added bonus? It is beautiful and makes the perfect coffee table book once you've finished reading it!
Nicola Moriarty // The Fifth Letter
Of course, I saved my favourite for last again. There seems to be a Moriarty theme with my favourite books this year...This time centered around four friends - Joni, Deb, Eden and Trina - who aim to catch up for an annual holiday every year. As they have grown apart in the last year, so this time they each share a secret in an anonymous letter to be read out during the holiday, except another letter appears and Joni goes through the whole trip to work out who wrote it. Every time I thought I knew, something happened to change my mind. It is so well written and entertaining right up to the end. YOU MUST READ IT!There are my top five for March and April! If only I could've shared all of them, I have been reading some amazing books this year! What was your favourite book from March and April? xx

DeleteI am so jealous of your commitment to reading. I've been reading the same book for months now! I just seem to struggle to find the time to sit down and read. Some of these sound like something I'd read too - will look out for them when I've finally got round to finishing this one.
