MooGoo Essentials
Antibacterial Hand Moisturiser*
I always try to carry both a hand sanitiser AND a hand moisturiser in my bag at all times. Hand sanitiser for obvious reasons, I want to have clean hands, and a moisturiser for my incredible dry hands. Why can't we have both in one?! Well, thanks to MooGoo you now can!
While alcohol based hand cleansers are great for killing bacteria, many people, in particular nurse and practitioners were reporting a huge increase in skin problems due to repeated use of hand sanitisers. MooGoo has come up with a natural hand product that protects the skin, while still killing those nasties. It contains a moisturising base of Aloe Vera and Vitamin E, then they added 5 different essential oils, each targeting a different kind of bacteria.
I am now in love with this and want to take it everywhere, I think I need to buy a big bottle to sit in the bathroom so I can take the 100mL travel bottle everywhere with me. It smells refreshing, but not harsh like a hand sanitiser usually does. It is hydrating, while leaving my hands feeling squeaky clean! The biggest perk for me? It doesn't sting any of those tiny, invisible cuts that you sometimes end up with all over your hands. I think it is pretty self explanatory why this has become a necessity.
Skin Milk Udder Cream*
My eczema is currently awful. To the point where I am scratching my legs until they bleed at night. I don't know what it is at the moment, but my skin is hating life a little bit. To attempt and keep the itchies at bay, I try to keep my skin hydrated at all times, particularly my legs which bear the brunt of it. The challenge is finding a cream that doesn't irritate the skin further.
The cream that started it all, the Udder Cream is lightest of all of MooGoo's creams, designed to quickly soak into the skin, keeping it feeling supple and elastic. This is another product that is now used at a number of hospitals, as a cream to help hydrate dry and damaged skin, particularly post radiation therapy and chemotherapy.
I have found it works wonders for my skin. Not just helping with my eczema, but just keeping my skin feeling soft and hydrated all the time. It is such a great multi purpose cream that works for anything and everything. I can't be without this anymore.
Cow Lick Lip Balm*
Lip balm is probably an obvious necessity and one I cannot function without. My lips are constantly dry and in need of hydration. No word of a lie, I am currently in need of some lip balm, and am trying to lick my lips to keep them hydrated (note: this doesn't work, only makes things worse). While every girl loves a fancy lip balm, my bank account for sure cannot keep up with that. Don't stress, MooGoo got you covered!
Cow Lick Lip Balm is just a safe lip moisturiser that has no nasty chemicals hidden inside. 'Honey and rich emollient oils condition and soften the lips. Allantoin
helps the repair of minor cuts and Mandarin Essential Oil...well it just
tastes nice.'
It is a no frills lip balm, with a subtle scent/taste. It is hydrating and gentle on the lips. I also found I have been using it throughout the day on dry bits of skin on my arms, hands and even legs and it works wonders on those as well. We all need a good quality, no fuss lip balm and for me, this has become it.
While I know some of you will read this and go 'yea yea yea, you're featuring MooGoo and an essentials set, but you probably don't really carry them around and use them every day.' But trust me, I do. Literally every day since I received these I have been carrying them around and using them none stop. They are simple, affordable and effective and that is what you want from basic necessities. Alongside my phone charger, bobby pins and keys, these three products have become the three essentials I need in my hand bag each and every day.

Hello love,
ReplyDeleteI couldn't agree more with you! I usually have hand sanitiser, hand cream and lip balm as absolute essentials too. Everyone usually pays me out for carrying hand sanitiser everywhere, but then they're the first to ask for some! :P
These sounds gorgeous, I know MooGoo is amazing for people with sensitive skin problems. The lip balm sounds absolutely lovely. Thanks for a great review!
I am exactly the same, people always judge me for it, but when they want some I always have some hand ;) haha thanks lovely xx
DeleteI love the idea of a moisturiser and hand sanitiser combined! This brand also worked wonders for my partners eczema. Will definitely give this a go at some stage. Thanks for sharing!

Hi Laura - great post as always!
ReplyDeleteI've always been afraid of hand sanitizers ever since I read a few articles saying that the ingredient Triclosan is horrible for the skin - does this have that ingredient?
I'd love to try the cream though - sounds amazing!
Also, so on point with partners asking why we have so much in our bags?! My partner ALWAYS chucks his keys, wallet and sunnies into mine haha.
Thank you so much!! No it doesn't have that at all! I have found this hand sanitiser sooo hydrating and it leaves my hands feeling clean and amazing. I also highly recommend the cream, it is also amazing!!
DeleteHaha how annoying is it?! And then my handbag ends up being sooo heavy, it's the worst haha xx
