Dusty Girls Make Up

Dusty Girls Makeup is a range of makeup farmed by the MooGoo team. It is specially designed for sensitive and acne prone skin, as well as those looking for a healthy alternative to makeup. Using natural ingredients, their products are free from any harsh chemicals which clog your pores and in turn irritate the skin. Dusty Girls aims to let your skin breathe, while leaving the skin looking and feeling healthy.

I have recently been trying a few of the Dusty Girls makeup range out. Having suffered from acne for years, and also having issues with sensitivity in my skin, the Dusty Girls range sounds perfect for my skin type, so I was super excited to try it out.

Natural Mineral Foundation Powder*

This mineral foundation powder is made with only natural ingredients, it's lightweight and filler free. Use the powder to create a flawless coverage, without any chemicals such as silicone, talc, UV filters and chemical preservatives.

This foundation powder has become one of my favourite products to use on a daily basis. It is lightweight, but has a great coverage. It isn't one of those powders that has a super matte finish either, it has a natural finish instead. I am not someone that uses a powder by itself, I typically have a liquid foundation or BB cream underneath and this powder works perfectly over the top. The packaging is great - it's a loose powder, but has a twist cover so that you don't end up with powder all through your handbag (god knows I've had that happen....). It even has Zinc Oxide as a natural form of sun protection. Any extra layer of sun protection I can get is awesome. Definitely a huge fan of this powder. To sum it up: flawless, natural coverage all in a brilliantly designed jar.

Earth Cream - Natural Tinted Cream for Acne Prone Skin*

This multi-tasker will hydrate your skin, while also providing a beautiful, even coverage to conceal blemishes and soften imperfections, as well as providing a small amount of sun protection.

So I had this post written and scheduled and I originally said I wasn't a huge fan of this cream. However I went 'you know what, let's have one last go' and I was so impressed with how it worked today that I had to change my review. This cream is so lightweight, the consistency reminds me a lot of whipped cream. It applies really easily and almost melts into the skin. It has a really natural finish - not too glowy, but not matte and flat (no one wants that!) but a nice natural look. It doesn't cover blemishes extremely well, but thats nothing a little bit of concealer can fix. It sits great on the skin and lasts really well. I'm so glad I tried it again before publishing this review, because it looks great today!! I do, however, hate the smell. It just isn't a nice smell!

Natural Mineral Bronzer*

This bronzer is highly pigmented, designed to give you a healthy glow while highlighting your natural beauty. It combines a blend of natural micas in golden tones to give you a sun-kissed look without the sun damage. It also uses Jojoba Oil and Macadamia Oil to keep your skin moisturised and radiant, as well as Vitamin E to enhance the overall health and appearance of your skin.

To simply put it: I love this bronzer. It looks very warm, if not a little bit orange, but it applies so well. Word of warning though, YOU DON'T NEED MUCH! It is so pigmented that you only need a small amount on your brush before you apply it (tap, tap tap your brush, then apply). It gives a gorgeous, natural glow without the effort. It is easy to build up to a deeper contour, or as a light sun-kissed glow. It is also HUGE, so it is probably going to last me forever.

These products are great for sensitive skin, or for any make up lover. Don't be skeptical of natural or organic make up. I was amazing by how pigmented these three products were. While the Tinted Cream didn't work great for me (I am going to keep trying to see if I can find a way to make it work!) the Bronzer and the Mineral Powder have quickly become staples in my make up routine. Not only do these products work extremely well, they are all also reasonably priced. Definitely need to get my hands on some more Dusty Girls Makeup now!
