Now, no one loves a good bath more than me. It is my weekly (or sometimes more often) chance to unwind and relax, read a good book and just disconnect from the real world of work and general life. I love it. I recently discovered another person who seems to love having a soak as much as I do. Natalie founded Soak Society in 2014 in a small apartment in Brisbane. She wanted to create beautiful wellness soaks made from the highest quality natural and organic ingredients. She was nice enough to send me a few of her beautiful soaks to try.

Noose Wellness Soak*

" Long Summer days spent swimming in crystal blue waters, the scent of jasmine and lemon myrtle in the air, the lime in our refreshing sparkling water, our hair and skin crisp with sea salt, this is an ode to our hometown."

Yinyang Wellness Soak*

"陰陽 yīnyang combines the opposite forces of dark and light to bring balance to your life. Activated charcoal and zesty pink grapefruit encourage detoxification and circulation, with white clay and the sweetness of neroli and vanilla to calm and soothe."

I love these unique bath salts. I'm a bubble bath kinda girl, but these have very quickly become some of my favourite things to use in the bath. The scents are amazing, natural and calming. The older I get, the more I am enjoying and preferring these natural scents over the super sweet, artificial ones lots of bath products have. Knowing these are completely natural makes them even better!

The packaging on these bath products is amazing! Super sleek and beautiful. The smaller, travel size bags have a simple ziplock top, with a clear back, making it easy to open and spoon out your bath products, but also see how much product is left (which I think is great!). The full size bags have a similar ziplock system, but instead of at the top, it is on the back. Both of them are so easy to use, there are no annoying screw top caps or fiddly lids, just an easy to seal ziplock!

Now I can hear you thinking 'these are big bags, with so much for fun bath times, but HOW much do I use?!" Well think of it this way - the full size bags contain enough for 5-6 baths and the travel size for 1-2 baths. Still confused? I use 2-3 tablespoons per bath basically and usually pour in when the tub is almost full, as the running water will help the salts start to dissolve. Then you get in and just enjoy.

The Noosa Soak, with jasmine, lemon myrtle and lime it is so refreshing. I sometimes find my self just opening the bag to give myself an energising boost. The Yinyang is completely different to anything that I've tried before. I am, however, a huge fan of charcoal at the moment so it was already a winner from me. It detoxifies the skin and leaves you feeling fresh as well. While I can't quite put my finger on what it is, there is something about these soaks that makes them perfect for that relaxing mid week bath, and they always leave me feeling refreshed and ready to take on the world again. I'm in love and I know you will be too when you try these!

Soak Society has also just released their gift sets just in time for Christmas! Go check them out, pick one up for your mother, sister, or just yourself. I promise you will not be disappointed.

As Soak Society says 'It's time to reclaim that bathroom, fill the tub, lock the door, grab your favourite read, light a candle and soak.'

  1. Oh my, that Yinyang soak sounds INCREDIBLE! I'm currently stuck in the middle of being a bubble bath/bath soak girl myself. It really depends on what mood I am in!

  2. This is a great post Laura - you've inspired me to go have a lovely Sunday soak in the tub!
    Keep it up gorgeous!!

  3. I agree bath salts tend to be way more relaxing than fizzy bath bombs. This brand sounds great!

  4. These bath products sound like such a relaxing treat. Might have to grab some for a xmas pressie for myself ♡

  5. I would love to spend some 'me' time relaxing in a bath, and after reading your review, with these lovely products.

  6. Both of these are calling me Laura - I'm house hunting at the mo', and a proper bath is high on my list of essentials so that I can enjoy something like this again! Definitely bookmarked for when I find the right place - such a lovely review, thanks babe xxx
