If you are not as good at sticking to lipsticks or to getting people to donate there is another alternative to help the initiative. You can do what I did and purchase the Liptember Beauty Box. For just $30 you will receive over $250 worth of beauty products (AMAZING I KNOW!) and you can know that you you have donated to an amazing cause.
To entice you to participate I am going to share my unboxing of the Liptember Beauty Box to show just how much stuff is in these awesome little black boxes! So lets get right to it...
The Bonus Extras
$5 Off Voucher for Kardashian Beauty to get your hair looking a million bucks!
Liptember Merchandise, I received the wrist band, but there are a few different ones you could receive!
The Health Products
The Skincare Products
There are some really great skincare products in this box. The first is the Avene Eau Thermal Spring which is absolutely amazing for sensitive skin, I spray it straight on my face whenever I get a stinging sensation or itchiness and it helps to soothe instantly. Added bonus it can be used on the whole face. There is also a sample of the Dr. Lewinn's Private Forumla Day Cream Moisturiser which is enriched with Vitamins A, B and E as well as Apricot Kernal and Sesame Seed oils for optimum levels of hydration. Dermaveen's Daily Nourish Lightly Tinted Moisturising Cream is a product I've never tried, but it sounds great for sensitive skin as it is free of parabens, fragrances and all the other stuff that irritates skin. The final skincare product is the Sukin Oil Balancing Purifying Gel Cleanser which is meant to be great for people with blemished skin (aka me!) so I'm excited to give this a go.
The Haircare Products
Haircare is an area I'm always nervous about because I never know what to buy, so I love getting boxes like this that have haircare in the to try. This one had the Klorance Dry Shampoo with Oat Milk, which happens to be the only Klorane dry shampoo I've never tried, so hopefully it lives up to the rest of them! There is also another dry shampoo - the Seven Wonders Argan Oil Dry Shampoo which uses Argan Oil to refresh and revitalise your hair. There is also a 50mL tube of the John Frieda Intense After Colour Conditioner, I don't colour my hair, so this one might not suit me, but I'm sure I'll find someone who an use it! The last hair care product is the Schwarzkopf Crystal Shine Serum which smooths the hair surface and restores the shine in just 30 seconds (amazing!)
Fragrances
There are two adorable fragrances in this box. The Lady Million by Paco Robanne and also the Reb'l Fleur by Rhianna. I haven't tried either before and haven't had a sniff yet, but they are both perfect sizes for travel or the handbag!
Nail Polish
I got sent two nail polishes, both of completely different colours! The first one was a Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure nail polish in the colour Island Firey. I love Sally Hansen nail polishes, they are long lasting and easy to use. There was also a W7 Nail Polish in a dark purple colour. I've never used W7 nail polish, but I love the dark colour!
Mascara
There was one mascara included in the box, the Rimmel Supercurler Black Mascara. Another product I've never tried, but it is meant to offer instant 90 degree curves that hold for up to 24 hours! So we'll see if it works.
The Lip Products
You can't have a Liptember box without some lip products!!! There were a whole variety in this box. There was the Ego QV Lip Balm, I love QV products so this will go down a treat! There was some Healthy Care Real Paw Paw Ointment, another great product for dry skin. The L'Oreal Color Riche Moisture Matte Lipstick looks amazing! The colour is so pigmented. Another W7 product, in the form of a lipstick this time. And last but not least in the lip products is the Maybelline Baby Lips and Cheek in Shimmering Bronze. I've never tried the Maybelline Baby Lips, but have heard amazing things about them.
The Other Stuff
(The category of things I didn't know how to categorise). There were a few other great products in the box. Nair Sensitive Mini Wax Strips for Face and Body are specially designed for sensitive skin needing a precise wax. I've never tried wax strips before, so I'm curious to give these a go. There were also some Moxie Sleepover Overnight Pads included as well. I used to use Moxie pads all the time and I love them, super comfortable and absorbable. Rediwn Coconut Balm is great for hydrating your skin, it can be used on the skin or lips, or anywhere where you have dry patches. There is also some Oral B 3D White Luxe Diamond Strong Paste which I am so pumped amount, I really need to whiten my teeth a little bit , so I'm hoping this one works! The last product was some Kids Goat Soap which is a gentle soap designed for dry, itchy skin, acne prone skin and sensitive skin. As I suffer from both eczema and acne, this soap is going to be awesome for me!
So as you can see, that $30 (plus postage) that you are essentially donating to Liptember goes a long way in the Liptember Beauty Box. If you haven't already, you need to get your hands on a box now! It is great value and supports an amazing cause!
