ADORE BEAUTY HAUL

In my first one I ordered two Red Earth and two Clarins products (because then I got a cool freebie with each of them!)
Red Earth has intrigued me a fair bit recently after seeing the
brand pop up around the place a fair bit. They are an Australia brand which has been around since 1991 that is inspired by the earth and nature that surrounds us in Australia. It's all about encouraging natural beauty and I have loved the sound of it. Adore Beauty has an awesome promotion at the moment where if you order two Red Earth products you receive a free full size bronzer, so I decided to pick up the eye shadow palette in warm, and a hydrating make up base.

I also picked up the Clarins Instant Light Comfort Lip Oil, which I've heard amazing things about, and also a Daily Energising Cleanser. Along with these I also got a 6-piece set which includes an extra-firming Body Cream, Cleansing Milk, Night cream, Camomile Toning Lotion, Beauty Flash Balm and Instant Lip Natural Lip Perfector! It's the perfect introduction to Clarins, which I haven't really used before.

MECCA HAUL

I also picked up some mini favourites from Soap and Glory and Korres to stash away for when I got to Italy, I think mini products are a way better way to travel than taking full products, leaves way more room for other stuff. I picked up the Soap and Glory mini Righteous Butter and some hand sanitiser, and also the Korres Aloe and Dittany Shampoo and Conditioner, all only $5! If anyone else has some suggestions on good sets to take travelling please please please let me know, I'm on the hunt for some before I leave!
PRICELINE HAUL
Priceline has been having a small sale the past week with 20% of Garnier and Manicare so I decided now was the time to pick up a few things!I decided I'd give a Micellar Water a go and Garnier recently bought out a Micellar Water designed for acne and blemished skin so I pick it up and so far I am loving it! It leaves my skin so fresh and clean, perfect addition to your cleansing routine!
Everyone has been raving about Lanolips recently so I decided I'd jump on the band wagon and it's been great so far, I love the smell the most, the sweet (but not too sweet) scent is so lovely and fresh!
Manicare's sponges are such a favourite of mine! If you're wanting a blending sponge that isn't ridiculously over priced like some others, give this one a go. They might not last as long, but for $10 a sponge it's much easier to replace them when they get too old.
REAL-U AUSTRALIA
I've heard such amazing reviews about Real-U and I'd been dying to give it a go! Seeing as I've had some issues with my skin recently and I was in dire need of a skin care overhaul and with their amazing deal over the Easter week (Real U set with free Spot Remove cream for $75 and free shipping) I couldn't resist! So far I'm loving it and my skin is too, the gel and moisturiser are lightweight and don't leave the skin greasy at all. I haven't had any breakouts since using them either which is awesome! I will be posting a review including a results photo once I've been using it for a few weeks if you're interested in knowing how I go.
I've been using it for a couple of days now and I have to say I haven't been hugely excited. My skin has been drying out and becoming itchy and flaky. I don't know if I'm having an allergic reaction to it yet or not, but so far my skin hasn't been enjoying it. I've been trying to decide whether to continue using it or not, but I'll give it until the end of the week, otherwise I might have to call this one a miss too...
RIMMEL HAUL

I also picked up the new Clear Complexion powder. It's a matte finish, but in a translucent colour. I've been looking for a powder that is a good alternative to my super pricey Nars Luminous Powder and I was told to try this. (My first impression wasn't hugely exciting. I've found it quite drying on the skin and I've found it really hard to get a good highlight or dewy glow with it. I'd definitely recommend it more if you have oily skin that causes your make up to sweat your make up away as it definitely helps to control excess oil.)
So there in ends my huge week of hauls! It's been so exciting picking up some products that I'd been eyeing off for so long. Have you been beauty shopping this week? What did you pick up!
Wow, truly epic haul, so many lovely goodies to play. Red earth looks pretty, love to hear your thoughts on them. I only bought their lipstick and have not tried yet.
ReplyDeleteIt was pretty epic haha I stocked up on all the things I'd been wanting for a while! So fair I'm loving the palette by Red Earth, super natural colours, which I love in eye shadow, I think I will do a post about them once I've been using them for a while, the brand seems so lovely!
DeleteThat's a great haul!! I saw a couple of reviews as well on Real-U, sorry you didn't have a great experience with it. It really sucks when you buy products and they don't work like you hoped they would!!
ReplyDeleteWe have a giveaway going on right now on our Facebook page (RODIK+VERON) for a Kiehl's facial cream if you want to check it out. Kiehl's honestly saved my skin a year ago, the products are lightweight and great for sensitive skin.
Love,

Thanks Maria!! It was a real shame, I was really excited about trying Real U and my skin just didn't enjoy it, but they were super lovely about it and gave me a refund for having a not so great experience.
DeleteI will have to go check that out, I'm in love with Kiehls at the moment so that would be amazing to win!
