At the end of 2015 a friend and I won a Frank Body Top to Toe Bundle from U By Kotex. We were both super excited, neither of us had tried Frank Body's products before, but had heard amazing things and were super keen to try them out. Frank is an Australian made coffee-based skincare range that targets cellulite, stretch marks, psoriasis, eczema and other skin conditions to leave your skin feeling soft and supple. The bundle includes their entire face range - creamy face cleanser, creamy face cleanser and everyday face moisturiser, as well as their original coffee scrub and body balm. I've been using their products for about 2 months now and as Frank is currently doing a 29 day complexion perfection challenge for February, I thought it was an appropriate time to share my thoughts on their products!

"What is coffee-based skincare? It's detoxifying, collagen promoting, free radical fighting goodness"

Sweet Cheeks
Let's start with the face range! I was slightly hesitant when I started using Frank's face range. I had just finished using an acne treatment range, which had cleared my skin up dramatically and I was worried that the change to this range would have a negative effect on my skin. It was anything from that!

The Creamy Face Cleanser certainly lives up to its title, it is certainly creamy! I was a little surprised the first time I used it, when I pushed on the pump a couple of times and suddenly there was this silver liquid in my hand...not the colour I was expecting from a coffee range. Now I have to say, I didn't enjoy the smell of this cleanser when I first started using it, it wasn't a smell I was familiar with, nor was I a huge fan. Then again I was unsure about the whole coffee scent when I first started using all of the Frank products, I am much more used to using fresh scent and was unsure about coffee. IT WILL GROW ON YOU THOUGH AND YOU WILL LOVE IT! As I non-coffee drinker, I certainly love the smell of coffee now. ANYWAY, back to the cleanser. It is certainly a solid cleanser - a little bit will go a long way. When I first used it, I used soooo much product, only to realise 2-3 pumps would've done the job. Needless to say this cleanser will last you forever!

The Everyday Moisturiser is now one of my favourite moisturisers. It is super light weight and like the cleanser, a little with go a looooong way! I always find myself using way too much of this product and having to find other places to rub the excess in. But it really does the job, my skin has been more hydrated and looks so much fresher. As for worrying about breakouts, I've seen a huge reduction in my breakout and also the redness in my skin and my skin just feels soft all the time (I applied this moisturiser about 2 hours ago and yes...I'm sitting here touching my face now as I type...). If you just need a moisturiser to use all the time, this is what you need! (only down side - it doesn't have sunscreen in it like some other moisturisers).

Now onto my favourite product...the Creamy Face Scrub. THIS. IS. AMAZING. I remember back to the first time I used this, and oh, my, gosh, I was amazed. My face was softer than it had ever been (as soft as a baby's bum if you need a comparison) and it just felt incredible. I know Frank promotes their body scrubs as their hero products, but seriously, this is probably the best product in their range. I now just keep it in the shower and use it 2-3 times a week, or when my skin is feeling a bit dull and it instantly softens and brings life back to my face. If you only buy one product from Frank it has to be this one!

Frank Body Products
Now onto the body products. First things first...The Body Balm...this was probably my least favourite product in the whole bundle. Don't get me wrong, it is super moisturising and hydrating, but I found applying it a pain. Like a balm, it is quite oily and it sits on the skin for quite a while before absorbing, leaving your legs oily and if you happen to be sitting on a leather chair after applying, you will see exactly where your legs have been. I haven't tried their body butter, but I think if it was as hydrating as the balm, I would enjoy it far more. I'm just not a huge fan of body lotions (or balms in this case) that sit on your skin forever before absorbing.

As for the final product...Frank's Original Body really is what Frank is good at. The scrubs were Frank's original product, and they know how to do scrubs. I was told I was suffering from Eczema about a month before I started using this product, and was itching and scratching my legs raw for about three months before that. The amazing thing about this scrub and the first time I used it? I didn't need to itch my legs for a week after. I was both shocked and excited. Usually my legs are the most sensitive part of my whole body and they don't mind letting me know when they don't enjoy something, but man did they love Frank! If you have sensitive skin, or just worry about using products on your leg, than you should definitely use Frank's scrubs. They are completely natural and will help with eczema and other skin problems. It is a dirty task, using a Frank scrub, you will get mess (coffee) EVERYWHERE, which can be a bit of a nightmare to clean (like the time I used it at a hotel and got stains on the shower curtain...I sincerely apologise to the hotel, but hey it was worth it!) but it will leave your skin soft and will provide relief from skin problems. I am no dermatologist, so you should still test a small amount on your skin before going all out, if you're worried, but take if from someone with the most sensitive skin ever, you will not be disappointed!

Frank really did live up to their reputation and if you're still not convinced, check out their feedback instagram, with photos from people suffering from a range of skin issues, and that should help convince you.

My truly loved Frank products, my poor scrub is looking a bit worse for wear lately, and the scrub is starting to lose the words on the front...they sure are loved in my bathroom!
Stay tuned for more beauty feedback, I will be running you through my night skin care regime next week and also doing a review on Origins Clear Improvements Mask. And in the mean time, if there is anything you want me to look into, leave a comment below!
