Introducing: Bali Body Skin / AD

If you are looking for bespoke, refined science backed skincare range, than I am so excited to introduce the latest brand to you that you are going to absolutely love.

As you’re all aware, I’m sure, Bali Body is a brand I have used for years and absolutely adore. Well, they’ve just launched their new, sub-brand BB skin, which is a science-backed skincare range formulated with both active ingredients and powerful plant based derivatives such as vitamins, peptides and ceramides. They’re all about inclusivity and sustainability, with formulas for all skin types and concerns. The whole range is also 100% vegan, cruelty free and packaged using 100% recyclable materials (that are stunning if you ask me!)

There are seven products in the initial launch and I’ve been used a few of these for the last month. I want to take you on a deep dive into each one!

Radiant Glow / Pro Collagen Cream

This is a multi-tasking daily moisturiser that is packed with peptides to lock in hydration and reduce fine lines and wrinkles, leaving you with plumped and energised skin.

Key ingredients // Peptides, a potent antioxidant to help fight the signs of ageing; Bakuchiol, a natural plant based alternative to retinol that helps with fine lines and loss of firmness, also great for refining skin texture and skin tone; and Hyaluronic Acid, one of my favourite hydration ingredients that plumps skin and boosts hydration.

I have been using this morning and night and I love that it’s hydrating but not heavy on the skin. While I have dry skin, this offers good hydration that leaves my skin feeling soft and moisturised all day (or night) long. It’s a beautiful, silky texture that leaves the skin feeling smooth and plump/ While I can’t comment on the long term benefits of helping with reducing wrinkles yet, I have noticed that my skin looks more refined after application and I have been enjoying how smoothly make up sits over the top.

Repair and Protect Vitamin D Serum

A lightweight and hydrating, this is an antioxidant packed serum that is designed to help maintain skin health and prevent premature skin ageing.

Key ingredients // Reishi Mushroom Extract (Vitamin D), a hormone scientifically proven to assist in the repair and renewal of DNA by promoting growth of telomeres in chromosomes; Kakadu Plum, which contains Vitamin C and Niacinamide to help with fine lines and wrinkles; and Chondrus Crispus Extract, also known as red algae, which is rich in fatty acids to provide natural hydration.

This is one of my favourite products from the range. It’s a lightweight serum that hydrates the skin so nicely. If you have oily skin, you could probably almost get away with just using this. I love how my skin feels instantly refreshed when I apply this. I am already envisioning going through many bottles of this…

Glaze Hydrating Skin Shield

A vitamin enriched moisturiser that protects against UVA, UVB and blue light.

Key ingredients // Provitamin B5, which helps to deeply hydrate and nourish the skin, providing anti-inflammatory benefits; Hyaluronic Acid; and Zinc Oxide, and essential mineral that helps to maintain skin health, while forming a barrier on top of our skin to help protect from UV rays and lock in hydration.

This is a light texture than the Pro Collagen Cream, but provides more instant hydration for me. It has a slight oil texture on application, but soaks into the skin nicely - I just leave a few minutes between this and applying make up to allow it to completely soak into the skin. I do enjoy the anti-inflammatory properties that have helped with some of my angry blemishes or redness, while providing hydration. It’s definitely a product that feels like it’s locking hydration in throughout the day. Which, my dry skin desperately needs!

Replenish Brightening Eye Serum

A lightweight eye serum containing peptides to brighten, soothe and replenish the delicate eye area.

Key ingredients // Peptides, which help to build collagen and elastin to support, firm and hydrated skin; Chamomile Extract, known for it’s ability to calm and soothe the skin, it helps to relieve redness and inflammation; and Cucumber Extract, which hydrates and soothes the skin while helping to reduce puffiness.

When I’m looking for eye creams and serums, I always opt for products that help to calm and relieve puffiness. I find that my under eyes are quite sensitive and they don’t love every eye cream. This one, however, is a big win. I love the calming properties in this serum. It’s helped to relieve redness and puffiness and feels sooo refreshing to apply.

Nourish Vitamin Hydration Mask

A deeply hydrating face mask enhanced with Niacinamide and vitamins to promote healthier looking skin.

Key ingredients // BakuchiolKakadu Plum and Tocopherol, also known as Vitamin E, an antioxidant that helps to fight free radicals and offer anti-inflammatory benefits to the skin to leave it hydrated and soothed.

Ok, this is, by far, my FAVOURITE product that I’ve tried from the range so far. Like, they are all good, but this is an absolute gem. It’s a gel like texture that you can wear either as a wash off mask (leave on for 10-15 minutes and then rinse) or overnight for increased hydration. I have been using this as an overnight mask and damn. She good. I have been using this once or twice a week just to increase hydration and it works a charm. I wake up with glowy, fresh and hydrated skin that feels incredible. It is also lovely as a quick refresh mask as well, if you need it (before an event for example), it’s a multi tasking gem.

As you can tell, I’ve been loving my trial of the new BB Skin range, and it is available NOW for you to shop. Head over now to shop the range, including the Enzyme Exfoliant and Detoxifying Clay Mask, the other two products in the new range. You will not be disappointed!
