Gifts for Mum to show you care

I love shopping for Mum. While my mother really does not need anything, it's nice buying her little luxury skincare or beautiful home wares that I know she would NEVER buy herself. I am a gift giver and I think that's how the title of this gift guide came about - I just wanted to show Mum that I do care.

Mrs Darcy : Crystal Candles* : $39.95

Ok, lets be real. What mum doesn't love candles. I mean...what lady doesn't love candles. I am yet to meet one (except for my friend that has like a heightened sense of smell and it overwhelms her, but that's different...) so it makes candles the perfect gift for mum. My new favourite candles are from Mrs. Darcy and come from their Crystal range, which has the most beautiful scent combinations, all put together in a beautiful Crystal Jar that can be reused after burning as a beautiful trinket jar. You honestly can't go wrong with any of the scents either...

Karen Murrell : Lipstick + Lip Pencil Kit* : $55

Karen Murrell makes the most beautiful, premium, natural lipsticks, that are as good, if not better, than the mainstream brands. A woman in beautiful lipstick can brighten a room like a bunch of fresh flowers. That captivating burst of beauty inspires everything they do. They have the most beautiful shades, in a comfortable formula that feels like heaven on the lips. I have been loving this Lipstick and Lip Pencil kit in the shade Violet Mousse, which comes in the most beautiful and luxe box. I am (secretly) planning on getting my mum one of these for Christmas, because I think she would love it.

Ella Baché : Eternal+ Gift Box* : $129

Ella Baché ETERNAL+ GIFT BOX is a limited-edition gift set for Christmas. The collection's packaging has been designed in collaboration with Melbourne-based artist Kerry Armstrong. The set includes: Eternal+ Replenishing Day Cream (50mL), Eternal+ Sculpting Serum (15mL) and Eternal+ Night Cream (20mL). It is honestly one of the most beautiful gift sets that has come across my door so far. We all know how luxe Ella Baché products are, but my goodness the packaging is just insane as well!

Lancôme : Renergie Multi-Glow Rosy Skintone Reviving Cream* : $165

For the first time, Lancôme introduces Rénergie MULTI-GLOW, a tailor-made day cream for women whose skin has lost its visible radiance over time. Rénergie Multi-Glow is a new multi-action day cream designed to lift your skin and to instantly revive your natural glow. The packaging is luxe, the cream is luxe and the price tag is luxe, but it is all worth it (especially if it's for mum!) I mean, who wouldn't love to open this up on Christmas day!

The Body Shop : Spa of the World Relaxing Escape* : $80

Take someone on a relaxing escape… A mind-soothing and skin-smoothing gift set. We’ve picked the most intensely skin-loving ingredients from around the world and poured them into our Spa of the World™ range. Give the gift of a pamper to mum this Christmas with this gorgeous set. Inside there is Spa Of The World™ African Ximenia Body Scrub 350ml and a Spa Of The World™ Japanese Camellia Cream 350ml, all encased in a beautiful box.

De Lorenzo : Rejuven8 Gift Set* : $54.95

Now I know this is one my mother would like. She loves to look after her hair, so getting her a good quality haircare pack would be a real winner. The De Lorenzo Rejuven8 Gift Pack is a limited-edition gift pack for Christmas. The pack includes: Instant Rejuven8 Shampoo (375mL), Instant Rejuven8 Conditioner (375mL), Instant Restructurant (200mL) and Rejuven8 The Ends (120mL). Formulated with berry fruits, the Rejuven8 range extends the life of coloured hair and protects against UV sun damage.

Jane Iredale : Lemon Hand Drink* : $58

I feel like hand creams are always a good gift for mum. Either because they love to look after their hands, or it's something they forget about and haven't a nice hand cream is one of those little luxuries that mums often don't treat themselves too. The Jane Iredale one is beautiful and probably a new favourite of mine. It is a skin-quenching formula with SPF 15 broad spectrum sunscreen (recommended by The Skin Cancer Foundation) and a refreshing hint of lemongrass.

Endota Spa

I have kept this final suggestion pretty open - basically anything from Endota Spa would be perfect for mum this Christmas. Their skincare products are beautiful and there is something for every skin type. If you are looking to indulge mum a little bit more then get her a gift card for a treatment. Their massages and facials are heaven - relaxing and rejuvenating, good for the mind, body and soul.
