Blogmas Day 4: Lushmas

It's this time of year where Lush really ramps up their limited edition collections. This years collection, if I do say so myself, is probably their biggest and best yet!

What I love about Lush this Christmas is that they are going naked! Which means you can get many of your favourites without any packaging. Making them kinder to the environment! I'm just going to get straight into Lush's Christmas goodies because there are a lot that I love and we could be here for a while otherwise!!

Bath time...

Let's start in my favourite place...the bath! I stock up every year on Lush's Christmas bath bombs when they go half price on Boxing Day because they are always some of my absolute favourite bath products. This year didn't disappoint either! There are the classics, and there are some really fun newbies this year too!

Luxury Lush Pud* / $8.95

When dinner is all over and everyone's had their fill it's time for pudding! With the flaming Christmas pudding, carefully decorated yule log or or good old fashioned mince pies with cream, dessert is never a dull affair.

A cult favourite at Christmastime, Lush has bought back is Lush Pud. It is probably one of the prettiest bath bombs that they bring out every year, with a mix of colours all set in a beautiful pink bath bomb. It is a good one to have right before going to bed on Christmas eve too, with Lavender to help calm the senses.

Shoot For The Stars / $8.95

Honey-scented sparkles of Brazilian orange and bergamot waltz with swirling, golden stars, creating a world of cobalt colour. As the calming blanket of shimmering, midnight blue unfolds, Brazilian orange and bergamot oils combine to send your mood rocketing up to the stars.

Still probably one of my favourite bath bombs that Lush has EVER released! Not only does it smell beautiful and extremely refreshing, but it also makes the most beautiful bath. As the bright blue bath bomb dissolves the gold stars, containing bucket loads of cocoa butter, also melt in the bath leaving your skin feeling super hydrated.

Golden Wonder* / $8.95

Happiness is a gift and the trick is not to expect it, but to delight in it when it comes in all its exquisite, sweet orange and lime oil glory.

A cult classic from Lush's Christmas collection again. This has come out so many times for the past couple of years, but it never ceases to be beautiful.  A beautifully gold wrapped Christmas gift that explodes with greens, blues and yellows as it melts away. Makes for a really fun bath!

Thundersnow* / $8.95

When your world is feeling stormy and you can't take the pressure, chill out with a peppermint and cocoa absolute weather bomb. Relax in the eye of the storm and listen to the thunder rumbling until it all blows over and the waters settle. The forecast looks clear and breezy.

A new release this year and one that I think could quickly become a favourite for both myself and Mr. TLOL. It is one of the most refreshing bath bombs I have ever smelt. With a burst of Peppermint Oil it is just want you need when you need an instant burst of energy. This is definitely a huge winner for me. Going to have to buy a couple more of these on Boxing Day.

The Snowman / $11.50

A summer breeze blows away a winter storm, find out what happens to solid bubble bath when it gets warm. Christmas is a good time to stay in for cuddles, so crumble into running water and soak in the bubbles. The sky will be blue, Sicilian lemon oil too... Just imagine how much smoother you'll be in summer!
I could not resist picking up one of these adorable little guys when I was in Lush recently. I have always been a big fan of the Lush Bubbleroons, which I find I get three or four baths out of (this guy is bigger then them, so I'm excited). They were always just super hydrating and really nice to bath in. This little guy has cocoa butter to keep you hydrated, by Sicilian lemon oil too so you can still leave feeling refreshed.

Man In The Moon* / $11.50

Fantastically phantasmagoric and wonderfully weird, you don't need a rocket to take a trip to the moon. Credits to lime and neroli oils for their outstanding contribution to lifting moods and chasing away the blues.

A little odd looking, but this guy smells delightful. I absolutely agree with how Lush describes the scent of this bubble bar, which is designed to contribute to lifting your mood. It has such a refreshing scent that I have already gone out and bought another (and I haven't even used him yet!) This is the perfect summer bath scent I think. It means you can still have a bath but not feel tired and lethargic afterwards.

Shower time...

Twilight Shower Gel* / from $19.95

Settle down for the night with a dusky blend of sweet tonka, heady ylang ylang and soothing benzoin resinoid. Moreish, nostalgic fragrance lingers gorgeously on the skin as you go from bath to bed, whilst a double dose of calming lavender helps to quieten the mind. 40 winks is only a shower away.

I have been really enjoying using lavender scents before bed lately, so I don't think Lush could have released this at a better time. I'm going to put this in the shower just for those before-bed showers to help calm the senses. Another one that would be perfect on Christmas Eve to help you get to sleep!

Snow Fairy Body Conditioner* / from $16.50

Candy floss water sets the scene, evoking the excitement of enchanting fairgrounds and disappearing bites of sugary fluff. To enter this otherworldly carnival, you need only step into the shower. Smooth the rich, buttery conditioner over your entire body and as you do, you’ll rise above it all on a ferris wheel of saccharine, fairy tale sweetness. Organic cocoa butter, mango and avocado swirl together to hydrate and soften the skin. When you're ready, rinse off and return to Earth.

This is one for the sweet teeth of the world. This sweet scent is definitely one that will entice your senses. If you haven't tried the Body Conditioners before, I would highly recommend them. You simple massage it into your skin and leave on for a couple of minutes (like you would a hair conditioner) and then rinse off. It leaves your skin feeling so super hydrated and refreshing. If you're not into the super sweet scent, go for some Christingle, a refreshing and tingly mint scent, you will not be disappointed I promise!

Body products...

Once Upon A Time* / from $17.95

Once upon a time there was a prince who wanted to have the most perfect soft skin; but only the best and most delightful, apple scented lotion would do. He travelled all over the world to find one but nowhere could he get what he wanted. There were lotions enough and bath oils galore, but nothing tickled his fancy. He didn't like lavender and didn't want bananas or patchouli either. So he came home again and was sad, for he would have liked very much to have a lotion that smelled like apples!

This is my new favourite body lotion. It smells incredible! So refreshing and just the scent you want on a scorching hot, summers day. Not only is it super hydrating, but the apple, grapefruit and sicilian lemon oil just leaves you feeling refreshed and ready to take on the day.

Lush-ious Lips...

Sugar Plum Fairy Lip Scrub* / $9.95

Buff away the grinchiest of lips with this smoothing castor sugar, juicy blackcurrant and sweet wild orange oil scrub. Then comes the fun part—time to lick off the excess for fairy sweet Christmas kisses.

If you have plans of a sneaky Christmas pash, then make sure you scrub your lips with this delicious scrub first. With Caster Sugar to buff away dry, chapped lips, leaving your lips feeling soft and supple, Organic Jojoba Oil for hydration and Sweet Wild Orange to give you a delicious taste in your mouth afterwards, this is one of my favourite lip scrubs ever!

Santa Baby Lip Tint* / $9.95

No matter if it’s naughty or nice, this softening cherry-red cocoa butter tint will suit whatever festive fun you’ve got in mind... Stimulating cinnamon and nourishing carrot oil will keep your lips kissable whenever there’s mistletoe in sight.

I don't know about you, but I love a red lip on Christmas day. It just feels like the perfect time for it. Typically, Christmas can be a long day with lots of eating, so you want something that isn't going to get in the way but will last well too. This lip tint is your answer. The Lush lip tints are always really hydrating with glycerin and cocoa butter, but they also last extremely well. I still remember last year when I put this on my lips to see what it looked like and I could not for the life of me get it off at all. It's perfect if you're looking for a natural alternative too!

So that is just a small selection of what you can pick up at Lush this Christmas. There is sooo many more options to choose from and you can't really go wrong. They also have so many different gift box options if you are looking to buy a gift box for a family member, or even for a Secret Santa gift!

Have you picked up anything from Lush for Christmas? What is your favourite product from their LE release? xx
