Blogmas Day 14: Summertime with Clarins

Summertime means a change in make up and the desire for a bronze glow (well that's what it means for me anyway!) Clarins has just released some gorgeous products that are absolutely perfect for warmer weather.

Dreaming of a summer in the tropics? Lying on a beach under the blazing sun? Well Clarins has got you covered with their gorgeous new, limited edition, sunkissed range.

Bronzing and Blush Compact* / $55

Need to warm your complexion? This powder comes in a harmony of three matte shades and an iridescent coral blush shade. The compact is designed to look like the setting sun.  Clarins’ exclusive Light-Optimizing + Complex with soft-focus pigments help to visibly minimize the look of lines and imperfections for a radiant, luminous result.

Not only does it have the most beautiful design I have ever seen, it is also one of the most beautiful bronzers I have put on my face. When I apply I simply swirl my brush around the compact and then apply to my cheeks. I think get a slightly smaller brush and pick up just the bottom, blush section and apply it to my cheeks. It just creates the most beautiful, sunkissed, bronzed glow. It is the perfect warmth for summer - not too orange, just perfect. Plus it reflects light in just a way that it makes your skin look so healthy. And the compact is HUGE! This gorgeous thing is going to last forever!

4-Colour Eyeshadow Palette* / $68

Next, if you're looking for something to create a really lovely, sun inspired eye look then Clarins have released the perfect eye shadow palette for you. Their brand new 4-colour palette, created with 100% mineral, plant-based eyeshadows are perfect for creating a gorgeous summer eye look. The palette consists of four shades - a beige, gold, vibrant orange and a brown.

I have been very impressed with pigmentation of all of these shades. The beige shade is less pigmented then the darker shades, but that's nothing that I wouldn't expect from any palette. All shades are soft and creamy and easy to build. Despite having an orange, a shade I wouldn't usually choose, all four shades work gorgeously together. The perfect little summer essential palette.

Waterproof Eye Pencil* / $38

A supple and incredibly soft waterproof pencil that delivers intense, precise lines with rich colour and long-lasting results. Formulated to provide intense color and hold for dramatic eyes. Wear alone or to accent your eyeshadow. The best part is it is waterproof, you can wear in the heat, in the pool, at the beach, anywhere and know that it will stay put!

I have actually loved using these as the stand alone eye shadows. There is a gold and a copper shade and they are extremely pigmented and look gorgeous on the eyes! The lasting power is super impressive too!

These products are the perfect summer products for a sunkissed glow. Keep it simple or intensify it for NYE. The packaging is gorgeous as well. These are definitely some products that you don't want to miss out on! When they are gone, they are gone.
