Peony Parcel: The Ocean Breeze Edition

Peony Parcel The Ocean Breeze

It is that time again! Peony Parcel box time! Probably my favourite time of every two months. My gentle reminder to take a evening for myself and just relax. I don't think this box could have come at a better time this month!

"Me" time is something we all want more of. That half an hour, or more of time away from anyone else, to just relax and unwind from the busyness of day to day life. Peony Parcel*, a new Australian subscription box, aims to deliver you 3 to 5 full size or deluxe sample beauty, bath, lifestyle and wellness products to help you enjoy some "me" time.  It is a bi-monthly subscription which aims to help you unwind.

A single box costs $59.95, but if you sign up for 6 months you get much better value, plus if you follow their Instagram they always run specials, like the 10% off offer I used when I subscribed ("peonymetime"). I resubscribed for another 6 months recently because I knew I could not live without this box in my life, it's such a good little reminder to have this turn up in your mail box every two months. This month's edition is The Ocean BreezeEdition and another amazing it is inspired by the ocean.

So what is inside this month? A couple of non-branded products this month included a lovely exfoliating glove (which in my mind you can never have enough off!) and a gorgeous set of pearl earrings, which naturally fit perfectly into the theme of this box. There was also a gorgeous card from Typoflora which I want to give to someone, but also don't want to part with it. There were plenty of other goodies inside this box that left me dreaming of the beach and warmer weather.

Lumi Candles // Cucumber and Mint

As soon as you opened the box you could smell this gorgeous candle on the inside. The freshness of cucumber and mint just fell out of the box. This maxi tea light is just lovely and has been leaving my house smelling delightfully fresh. Who knew such a small candle could leave your home smelling so good.

Peony Parcel The Ocean Breeze Personail

Personail // Nude

I haven't tried any nail stickers before, but I have heard a lot of people rave about them before, so I am actually extremely excited to try these bad boys from Personail, a new brand to me. They essentially stick onto your nails, then you file off the excess and cover with a layer of clear nail polish. This light pink/nude shade is going to be perfect for me.

Coast Sydney Botanicals // Fresh Waters Serum and Jasmine Perfume

I have seen Coast Sydney Botanicals popping up on Instagram a lot lately, but I have been yet to try any of their products. I think the gorgeous, simplistic, colour bottles are what has been drawing me in.

The Fresh Waters iѕ a highly concentrated ѕkin renewing serum, соntаining natural botanical based active ingredients likе Rosehip Seed Oil CO2, Seabuckthorn CO2 аnd a beauty blend оf Rose Geranium, Frankincense, Carrot Seed oil аnd Immortelle oil. You know I love Rosehip Oil, so I cannot wait to put this on my face. My dry skin sounds like this is exactly what I need.

The Jasmine Natural Perfume is a tropical paradise. Be instantly transported to the shores of Noumea, New Caledonia. Sparkling citrus top notes with floral mid notes of Jasmine and Honeysuckle. The greatest thing with Natural perfume oils is that the scent will stay close to the skin and as time passes, the scent will develop according to the wearer.

Peony Parcel The Ocean Breeze In2Tea

In2Tea // Cleanse Me Tea

For green tea lovers, this will be a winner for you! Inside the latest Peony Parcel is a little sampler pack with three different teas inside: Hibiscus Detox Tea, Cleansing Tea and Ginger Green Tea. I am not a huge fan of Green Tea, but Dave is so he will be trying these ones out for me.

Sea2Skin // Active Hydration Mask

I actually received one of these a while ago in another subscription box, but I can say I am disappointed to get another one, especially with how dry my skin has been lately. It is a really lovely, creamy mask that just feeds your skin hydration. It smells really refreshing and comes in a super easy to use squeezy packaging, which is actually the first I have seen in a mask.

Peony Parcel The Ocean Breeze The Rocky Road House

The Rocky Road House // Salted Caramel Corner 100g

There is always a delicious sweet treat inside the Peony Parcel. This month was some delicious rocky road from The Rocky Road House. A salted caramel one to be precise (Dave loved it!) with fluffy marshmallow pieces, puffed corn and coconut smothered with creamy caramel milk confection. A sugar lovers heaven, in other words.

It was a very different box this time around, but I have to say I really enjoyed this months contents. It definitely reminded me of lazy days by the beach. Did you get The Ocean Breeze box? What is your favourite product inside.
