Maslow & Co | USA Edit

Maslow and Co USA Edit

It's that time of the month again, Maslow & Co box time! Time to visit another country and discover more amazing brands from around the world. Pack your bags, and let's head to the US of A!

Never heard of Maslow & Co before? They are a unique subscription box in Australia that offers you access to a variety of beauty products from around the world, all without having to leave your home. Each Maslow & Co. box contains up to 6+ products. Forget miniscule barely-single-use sachets, our miniatures are substantial so you can truly test out the product properly to find out what really works for you. They include unique brands from a variety of regions from around the world, allowing you to get a taste of brands you may never have heard of before. The latest box was The USA Beauty Edit*.

Meet the latest independent beauty brands on the under-the-radar market. From the country that brought you Glossier, Drunk Elephant, and the now famed beauty blender, we unearth the next wave of fresh faces making their beauty debut in Australia (and in your beauty regimes).
This month we are in USA with a whole variety of products to test out, so let's dive inside!

Doucce Freematic System Eyeshadow Quad*// $49.95

A versatile and customisable colour palette. The Freematic system allows you to design your own palette choice to be as individual as you. Each of the highly pigmented ready-to-wear colour palettes are specially curated with both matte and shimmer shadows to allow for effortless blending. The versatile silky smooth powders are so rich it feels creamy. The fine weightless powders glide on easily without smudging or creasing.

I got really excited when I saw this inside. I should say, I am a little bit disappointed by the colours I received, but I love that you can customise the palette to suit the shadows and shades you like. I have never heard of Doucce before, but I am already really impressed by the pigmentation of these shadows. The colour pay off is amazing!!! Mine also didn't come with a brush, which I am not too bothered by, as I have plenty of my own. Despite not liking the colours, this brand is a winner for me and I will almost definitely be buying some of my own to fill the palette, choosing four shades that will be perfect to take travelling!

CLE Cosmetics Essence Moonlight Cushion* // $39

Infused with soothing and nourishing ingredients such as calamine, pearl extract, and moisturizing essence, the Moonlighter Cushion highlights desired areas with a silky smooth and illuminating finish.

Maslow and Co USA Edit CLE Highlighter

Maslow and Co USA Edit CLE Highlighter

I love cushion products, especially foundations, so I am always on the hunt for new brands and cushion products to try out. Looking at this highlighter, it looks so pink and bright and not a colour that I would usually use, but let me tell you...this highlighter is amazing! So shimmery and one of the most amazing highlighters I've ever used. I do find that it takes a bit of getting used to, as it is a different method of application, but once you get the hang of it, omg it's incredible!!

Ocadité Serum Trio (sample size)* //from $56

Inside this box there was also three sample size serums from Ocadité.

Maslow and Co USA Edit Ocadite

The first one was Hydration* // $59
Po+R is the ultimate moisturizing and nourishing serum you've been looking for.

This is a super hydrating serum. Made with a perfect combination of pomegranate oil, Vitamin E oil, and essential oils, rose oil and geranium oil, this serum helps to achieve optimum skin hydration while balancing sebum production to control shine. I've only used this once, and you don't get too many uses out of the vial, but my skin felt really lovely and hydrated after use, so I can't wait to see how it goes.

There was also Radiance Effect* // $56

This fast-acting serum targets the restoration of radiance & skin luminescence. Active source of plant collagen, Camellia seed oil is extracted from the antioxidant-rich seeds of Green Tea. This precious oil is known to be the ancestral beauty secret behind the geishas’ skin radiance.

A serum designed to bring radiance to dull, sluggish and lackluster skin (aka mine....). It contains Lemongrass, which calms, revitalises, relieves tension and invigorates this skin. I haven't tried this one yet, as I have been waiting for my skin to clear up a little bit before I tried it to see results, but I can't wait to see how this goes!
The final serum is the Eye Contour* // $59

Highly nutritive serum specially formulated for the delicate, thin skin of the eye contour.

Containing Vitamin A, E and F, as well as plant sterols and Baobab oil targets all signs of aging around the fragile eye area, helping to reduce wrinkles and increase elasticity. I always need something to plump my eyes and leave them looking fresh, hydrated and not puffy. So far, it's a really lovely, lightweight eye serum with an oil texture. It is certainly really hydrating to the under eye, which is exactly what I need at the moment.

I am super excited to see how the serums go. I will need to try the Pimples one next, that sounds like exactly what I need.

pūrlisse Blue Lotus Seed Mud Mask and Exfoliant* //  $75

A 10-minute facial treatment crafted with Blue Lotus Seeds, White Clay, Bamboo, Ginger, White Tea and Mushroom Extract. This miracle multi-tasker instantly brightens, detoxifies, tightens and soothes skin while providing gentle exfoliation. Skin texture is left visibly youthful & glowing.

Maslow and Co USA Edit purlisse Mask

You know I love my clay masks, so this is probably one of my favourite products in the box. I love that it is a simple and quick mask taking no more then 10 minutes. I love how soft and glowy my skin feels after using this mask. I can't wait to see what long term results i get from using this mask.

OUiGLO Rich Collagen Face Mask* // $15 (set contains 3 masks)

This indulgent mask is pre-soaked with a blend of collagen & fruit extracts to give you a divine, dewy glow on-the-go. Perfect at any time, right before applying your makeup, going out for the evening, or while jet-setting.

Maslow and Co USA Edit OUiGLO

I haven't tried these masks yet, but I am so excited to. They have so many benefits - moisturises, brightens, nourishes, firms and tones, tightens pores and controls oil. They sound amazing and are in lovely, almost rose gold packaging, so I have no doubt that I am going to love these!

Each month there is a special gift for those people who review all their products. This month's gift was from Apotheca.

Restore and nourish your true beauty from within. This tonic is formulated to slow the signs of skin fatigue and restore youthful radiance. Glow promoting herbs rich in Vitamin C, Polyphenols and Antioxidants feed your skin from within and unearth ageless beauty.

Maslow and Co USA Edit Apotheca

I have never really done supplements or health tonics and powders, but this one smells so delicious that I really want to try! It smells of chocolate and is something you can use to bake, put in a smoothie, chai puddings, pre workout shakes, anything at all! I haven't tried this yet, because I haven't found the perfect use yet, but I can't wait to try!

It was another amazing box and I have definitely discovered some new products inside that are amazing, and some that I cannot wait to try. Did you get the USA box? I'd love to hear what your favourite product was.
