Now before I show you some of my ideas, I thought I'd talk about what I was looking for. I am not one of those people who has my heart set on a particular type of flower and can't have anything else. If I am honest, I know nothing about flowers and don't really care what sort of flowers end up in my bouquet, as long as they are colourful to our colour theme. We had a few ideas about both natives and succulents, but at this stage we are leaning more towards the natives, because there are so many natives that fit into the colour theme we were thinking of.
So what are our colours? Well the bridesmaids will wear burgundy, groomsmen in navy and the flower girls in a blush pink. The ideas in my mind I was wanting to combine all of those colours with a lot of greenery. I was thinking that the flower girls might wear a simple flower crown as well.
I think the easiest way to describe what I want is to just show you! So here are some of my Pinterest inspiration photos (also, if you're wanting to see anymore of my wedding inspiration, head over to Pinterest, where you will find all of it!) Please note, none of these photos are mine. Source: Pinterest
So that is a little snapshot into my inspiration for my wedding flowers. I am so excited to see what our florist comes up with for us.
What wedding post would you like to see next? Something about our venue? Budget woes? Make up inspiration? Let me know in the comments!! xx
