Snagging a Bargain on Boxing Day!

Welcome to Day 12 of Blogmas! Yes, we reached the last day, which means tomorrow is Christmas! That also means that the day after that is Boxing Day, when all the best sales happen! Today's blog post is just a few of my tips on how to snag the best bargains and get exactly what you want on boxing day.

1. Write a List

Be organised in order to get what you want. There is no better time to plan for Boxing Day then now! Write down exactly what you want to pick up while shopping. Chances are you will end up with wayyy more, but if you at least know the big things you want, then you know where to start. Put the items that you think are the most difficult to get at the top of the list, so you can start with those. At the bottom, include items you would pick up if the sale is good, or if there are any left.

2. Start with the items you most want

Just like putting the items that you most at the top of the list, you want to start with these. If there is a gift set you MUST have, or that handbag you've been eyeing off all year. Get in early with these items before they sell out. For example - I will start with Lush, because those Christmas Bath Bombs ALWAYS sell out early. I'll get to the Benefit gift sets later, because my Myer always has some left over.

3. Get to the shops early

After eating three times your body weight on Christmas day, all you want to do is sleep it all off on Boxing Day morning. If you want that handbag babe, you are going to have to get up early. The best stuff sells out early, so you need to get in early (early bird gets the worm). If you don't want to battle the crowd, just wake up early and jump on your laptop in bed. You will find more bargains if you start shopping as early as you can.

4. Be Polite

Boxing Day is busy. Everyone is out to get the best bargain they can, so it often ends up a little feisty. Be polite to everyone. Don't fight over that handbag, don't be that person that pushes everyone out of the way. Getting the best deal isn't everything, don't lose your dignity just because someone else is interested in it too.

5. Be Quick!

If you want the best deal, don't haste my dear. Get in early and get round quick. Getting the best deals requires speed and efficiency (hence the list). Dawdling between stores probably won't get you everything you want and you'll miss out on the best of the best. It's time to get that cardio workout in and work off all the food you ate at Christmas.

Boxing Day is full on, but follow my tips and you will get exactly what you want at the best price! Disclaimer: I cannot claim any of that, but I wish you luck and hope that you can snag the best deals on Boxing Day. What products are on your Boxing Day shopping list?

  1. I definitely can't wait for the boxing day sales. x
