Sugar Baby Sheet Masks

Sugar Baby Beauty is an Australian beauty company founded by the dynamic-duo Lizie and Nicci Clifton. Being Aussie girls, they grew up by the seaside and the beach energy is what has inspired many of their products. Founded in 1998, their mission is to make their customers to look and feel their best.  The creative founders both maintain that beauty products are not just external – it’s all about attitude, they believe customers want quick fix beauty products that perform but they also want to relate to the foundation and the creation.

I have been lucky enough to have been trialling the Sugar Baby's new face masks range, which comprises of six different face masks all designed to target a skin concern. At just $6.95 each these masks are extremely affordable and can be used for whatever skin concern you might have. I have put each of these to the test in the past few weeks to see how they go. It's time for me to share my thoughts on each of these!

Peeling Great*

This sheet mask uses Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA’s) to unclog pores by pull away dry and flaky skin to brighten and renew your skin tone and texture. Out of all six sheet masks, this was the on I was most looking forward to. I've heard so many good reviews on AHA's, everyone raving about how these are a must have ingredient in skincare.

I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed this mask. It fit my face really well, which is honestly surprising with sheet masks, they are usually WAYY too big for my face, but this one fit (woo!!). After leaving the mask on for about 15 minutes, I removed it and my skin felt amazing. It was soft and smooth and looked a little clearer and brighter. I honestly have to say that this is one of the best sheet masks I have used. I saw instant results that left my skin feeling fabulous. I am definitely going to have to stock up on this one.

Express Glow*

Infused with Vitamins B & C and Antioxidants, this mask deeply penetrates lack-lustre dry skin, ultimately delivering a bright and translucently clear complexion. It aims to bring a youthful radiance to your skin, to help it look brighter and more even.

I didn't love this one as much as Peeling Great. It definitely left my skin feeling soft and hydrated, but I didn't notice as much of an immediate change in my skin after using it. I was still impressed by the immediate feeling of hydration and refreshment.

Let's Be Clear*

This mask detoxifies your skin, penetrating through the deep layers of the skin. This one is infused with Salicylic Acid, as a gentle exfoliant to detoxify and help remove skin impurities and replenish pores. It is also enriched with powerful anti-oxidants and moisture boosting extracts to clarify and oxygenate skin tone for a healthier looking complexion.

I used this one after I started to notice a few spots appearing on my face. I was happy to notice that they started to clear up quickly after this one and it helped to reduce the redness and the angriness of them. It is a great little fix. It won't get rid of them completely, but I did find it helped!

Good-Bye To Dry*

With Hyaluronic Acid, which is a powerful hydrating ingredient, this mask is designed to renew dry skin to a dewy complexion! It is also infused with Niacinamide, it helps improve skins elasticity and protect from ongoing dryness. ALSO (yes there's more) has anti-inflammatory antioxidants to soothe and calm skin, to leave it feeling refreshed.

I think, after Peeling Great, this is maybe my second favourite! I was suffering from randomly dry skin, I popped this on for 15 minutes and my skin was hydrated and refreshed again! A little bit of gentle exfoliation before applying the mask, then pop it on and await the hydration. So impressed with this!

Never Confuse the Moment*

This one is made up of Witch Hazel, Liquorice and Pomegranate to help reduce redness, while toning and boosting skin clarity.

Another one of my favourites! My skin feels so soft and refreshed. I am in love with how my skin feels after using this mask as well. I love that these have extra product left in the sachet that you can massage into your skin after you finish the sheet mask, so you get that extra bit of use out of. My skin feels hydrated and so fresh after this mask.

Are You A Firm Believer?*

This age defying facial mask works by penetrating into the deep layers of the skin.  Infused with Collagen and Sodium Hyaluronate, which intensively firms and revitalises skin creating an elastic and resilient complexion. It will leave your skin feeling energised, refreshed, restored and nourished.

I really like this mask as well, but hey I think it's become clear that I like all of them. As I don't really have too many signs of ageing yet, I can't comment on how it firms the skin, or helps with tightening the skin. I do have to say it is extremely hydrating and it left my skin feeling soft and extremely nourished after just fifteen minutes. It is definitely refreshing and even if you don't yet have signs of ageing, it is the perfect hydration and nourishing face mask.

I have been so impressed with all of these sheet masks. My favourite, is probably pretty clear, is the Peeling Great. I have never felt such instant results from using a sheet mask and I am definitely planning on stocking up on a few of these. However, they are all refreshing, hydrating and designed to target different issues, all producing results. You can pick these Face Masks up on the Sugar Baby website, or in store at Myer.

  1. I have to try more of these masks! They are amazing :)

  2. Did you leave the remaining serum on, and massage onto the skin? Or wash off?

    1. Great question, totally should've included this in the post... I massage the left over into my skin, it helps extend the face mask process a little bit longer. I then wait until my skin has completely soaked all the serum in before moisturising or anything xx

  3. These masks sound great! The Peeling Great and Goodbye to Dry I think would be my favourites, if only we could get them in the UK!

    Ellie x

  4. Definitely want to try peeling great! It sounds so awesome!

  5. Great post! You made me want to try them ALL!

  6. It's a unique thing with Interesting names! I have never tried a sheet mask. Will now give a go! Let's see what these can do!
I guess these r good for times when you are a guest n can't afford the mess linked to other masks!

  7. Oh wow! I didn't know that Sugar Baby did sheet masks. These look great!

  10. The express glow mask is calling my name heading over to order now

  11. Hey Laura! Was just wondering, how often did you try on the face masks? Did you try one face mask per week, or a different one everyday? I saw on the packages that it said 'Use weekly to (insert benefit)', so I'm not sure if I can use a different one everyday or if I've got to wait weekly to only try out one mask haha!
Loved your review, found it really helpful! :')
