Coffee + Epsom Body Scrub*
Butt Naked has a few different body scrubs, as well as a scrub + soak. The Coffee + Epsom Body Scrub has very few ingredients, consisting of Roasted + Ground Robusta Coffee Beans, Grapeseed and Coconut Oil, Raw Brown Sugar, Epsom Salt and Mint. Super simple. Now if you're not a huge fan of coffee, than do not fear, because I have to say the coffee scent isn't super strong. When mixed with the mint and oil, it becomes really refreshing.
This Body Scrub is designed for a 'workout recovery'. I was very intrigued when I read this on the front. 'Workout Recovery? How does it help for that?!' I thought. Well, let me tell you something. It would be absolutely perfect for post-sweat sesh, or for aching muscles as it tingles a little bit when you put it on the skin. Not 'oo my skin hates this' tingles, but 'wow that's refreshing!' tingles. I found that using this on a particularly hot day, or after I had some a workout, it just helped my muscles relax. It has an instant cooling and refreshing sensation as you massage it into the skin. Had I tried this scrub in the middle, I'm not 100% sure that I would enjoy that sensation as much, but it is absolutely perfect for summer, whether you workout or not.
As for the scrub itself, aside from the refreshing tingle, I love it. It is quite a fine coffee scrub, but the mixture of Raw Brown Sugar and Epsom Salt gives it enough coarseness that you able to get a good exfoliation going on. It left my skin feeling super soft and refreshed.
All in all I've been a huge fan of this scrub. The simple and all natural ingredients make this scrub work well for any skin type, even sensitive. I definitely recommend this for anyone who works out regularly as it really does help relax your muscles after an intense sweat session. Butt Naked, itself, is such a fun brand and while they only have a few products at them moment, they do these ones really well. I am excited to try more from the brand now.
Have you tried anything from Butt Naked before? What is your favourite? Or what do you most want to try?
