It Cosmetics CC Cream Your Skin But Better
This highly pigmented multi-tasking beauty miracle truly covers everything, will not crease or crack in fine lines, and gives you a healthy, Your Skin But Better® glow.
At $38US it has big claims, but does it really live up to all the hype? It's time to put it to the test!
I no apologise for the awkward faces/no make up face, but I wanted to give you an idea of what sort of coverage it has. I have put on no concealer or anything on, the second photo just has the CC cream on!
Before:
After:
Pros:
- It is thicker than most tinted moisturisers, which I love. I am constantly disappointed by tinted moisturisers and CC creams that are so sheer that you end up lathering your face up in concealer. You barely need any concealer with this CC cream.
- It lasts all day.
- The CC cream has a hydrating serum, leaving your skin hydrated all day.
- It feels comfortable on the skin, I didn't rush to remove my make up at the end of the day like I have been recently.
Cons:
- There are a limited number of colours available, so it may be hard to find one that suits.
- The colour I got (Light) is probably slightly too dark for my skin tone, though I'm sure Fair would work better.
- It is quite thick and pigmented, so if you're after a tinted moisturiser that is much lighter than your foundation you might not be a huge fan of this.
The Verdict: I absolutely love this CC cream! I have been on the hunt for so long trying to find a CC cream or tinted moisturiser that was not as sheer as a normal moisturiser. I wanted something slightly thicker and more pigmented, but wasn't as thick as my foundation. It did all of those things and more! It is so perfect for the days when you don't want a full face, but you can use it as a foundation as well - I've been using it as a foundation on my forehead because it is much more hydrating than my foundation on my flaky skin. It has done everything I hoped and more.

Thanks so much for sharing your before and after shots! I love it Cosmetics and have been considering purchasing this but wasn't sure what it was like - your review has definitely made me add it to my wish list :) x
ReplyDeleteI love it! It's honestly become my go-to foundation lately, it's light enough to not feel heavy, but with a great coverage! xx
DeleteWoo hoo! I'm SO in love with this stuff too Laura - just recently managed to get hold of a tube from Sephora (waitlisted for a month!). The coverage is amazing, it's the perfect consistency, and I love the 50+ SPF xxx
ReplyDeleteHow good is it!!!! I love it! It's honestly my go-to foundation at the moment, and the SPF is such a good bonus because I'm hopeless at wearing moisturiser with SPF haha
DeleteGreat coverage! I 've been wanting to try this for so long. I have to finish my stash of bb creams and tinted moisturizers before i take the plunge.
ReplyDeleteI have my eyes on this, like you I get annoyed when CC/BB creams are sheer and covers nothing. I love using CC/BBs when my skin is a bit hormonal
ReplyDeleteLily not Louise
This one is definitely better than ALLL of those! Coverage, without the drying feeling many foundations have! :)
DeleteI think I should have bought this one instead of the IT Cosmetics CC+ Eye, as it sounds fantastic and much better. I'm not that impressed with the Eye one weirdly. But the coverage of this CC cream looks great on you :)
