On the 12th Day of Christmas : Christmas Advent Calendars

Christmas is fast approaching and boy am I excited. Yes, I am one of those people that already wants to put up my Christmas tree and is already playing Christmas carols. Sorry not sorry! One thing I do get excited about at Christmas time is Advent Calendars. Each year they just get better and better so I thought I would share some of the ones I am lusting over.

Now for those who haven't picked up on it, I am talking about more than just chocolate advent calendars (as good as they are...). We are talking beauty advent calendars, and maybe a few others in the mix. Let me share my top 12 advent calendars with you.

1. Sephora Collection Once Upon A Time Advent Calendar : $69

One on the more affordable side. Sephora has just released their own Advent Calendar with 24 of their Sephora Collection products inside from lip stains and blushes to bath fizzers and glitter hair ties. It has a really lovely mix of products inside, but I would honestly buy just for the packaging!

2. The Body Shop 25 Days of the Enchanted Ultimate Advent Calendar : $250

I have never been hugely excited about The Body Shop advent calendars, at least not for the last few years but I am quite impressed by the ultimate advent calendar this year. They have three different versions, but the ultimate (and most expensive) one is the one I would probably the only one I'd consider buying because it has either full size or deluxe samples of some of their top selling products, including the Spa of the World collection, Drops of the Youth, Oils of Life and Superfood Face Masks. Definitely some products I would love to have in my life.

3. ASOS The Face + Body Advent Calendar : $110

The ASOS calendar last year looked pretty good but I think this year looks even better. The advent calendar includes products from Clinique, Skyn Iceland, First Aid Beauty and Coco and Eve. While it mostly includes deluxe sample sizes rather than full size products, but well worth if you are wanting to try out some more high-end brands.

4. Kiehls Advent Calendar : $95

For what it's worth, I think the next advent calendar is priced very reasonably. The Kiehls Advent Calendar features designs by the renowned artist Andrew Bannecker who has been involved in designing all of their Christmas range and inside you will find 24 different Kiehls products from samples to deluxe samples and a couple of full size products as well.

5. Mavala 12 Days of Christmas Advent Calendar* : $59

The Mavala Advent Calendar is one of the cutest advent calendars I have ever seen. This calendar has12 drawers containing four nail care products, six best selling mini nail colours, plus tweezers and hand cream. I already have this calendar in my hot little hands and I am so excited because I haven't tried many of the nail care products from Mavala so I can't wait to start opening this!

6. L'Occitane Magic Premium Advent Calendar : $180

This has to be one of the funnest looking advent calendars. With an almost rubiks-cube like design that has drawers coming out at all angles. One of the uniquest designs I have seen so far. Inside you'll find lots of L'Occitane's best selling products, valued at $235.

7. Look Fantastic Beauty Advent Calendar : $150

I had the 2017 Look Fantastic Advent Calendar and I loved it! It was filled with lots of interesting brands and products, most of which I hadn't tried before. This years box is valued at over $500 with products from Omorovizca, First Aid Beauty, Rituals, Glam Glow and Sleek inside, amongst many others. Safe to say I am very tempted again...

8. Charlotte Tilbury Beauty Universe Advent Calendar : $295

Every year I lust over the Charlotte Tilbury advent calendars. With all of CT's best selling products inside, including the Magic Cream, Pillow Talk lipstick and much much more. All encased in a gorgeous burgundy glitter box. It is amazing and gorgeous and one year I'll get it....when I win the lottery.

9. Palm Beach Christmas Advent Calendar : $79.95

Now if candles are your thing then maybe this advent calendar is the one for you. Palm Beach has some beautiful candles and in this 12 day advent calendar there are 12 50g candles, including 10 Core Fragrances plus 2 New Christmas Fragrances- Winter Pine & Summer Bellini. Great way to test out some of the Palm Beach candles and see which is your favourite.

10. NARS Uncensored Advent Calendar : $220

Now this is an advent calendar that I was excited about! This year NARS released a 24 day advent calendar with one of the coolest designs I have ever seen. Inside there are 24 iconic favourites, including the Laguna Bronzer and Orgasm Blush. I am so tempted to pick this one up.

11. Diptyque Advent Calendar : $610

Now if you are after a luxe advent calendar than maybe this is the one for you. With quite a large price tag it is one of the most luxurious advent calendars on the list this year. It looks gorgeous and luxe and inside the calendar you will find 25 products including candles, EDT's and Body Care. It is one way to try their products before buying.

12. T2 The Big Book of Secret Teas and Brews : $40

To finish off the list I thought I'd include the gorgeous T2 24 day advent calendar. This year T2 has released both a 12 day and a 24 day advent calendar filled with amazing teas. You can basically drink your way through December with this calendar!

Now these are just touching the surface of advent calendars this year. I could honestly go on forever with them but that wouldn't help me pick one (and probably wouldn't help you either). I am still unsure of which one I will get...I am contemplating picking up the Nars Advent Calendar...I love Nars products and barely own any Nars products at the moment, so it could be a way to bulk up my collection, but I still haven't decided.

Have you picked up an Advent Calendar this year? I would love to hear which one you are thinking of getting this year (or already have). Let me know in the comments below. xx
