Blogmas Day 5: Muck Boots

With all the rain we have had lately I've had to put all my sandals and summer shoes away. I have had a very exciting delivery that has been perfect for the wetter weather. I have had some really lovely Muck Boots turn up and I am super excited to share them with you.

For those who haven't heard of Muck Boots before, they make gumboots are known for their tough but comfortable quality design. They are 100% waterproof yet made from lightweight materials, ensuring they'll keep your feet dry and moving at speed in all weather conditions.

I received the gorgeous Verona Leather Boot* which takes their traditional boot and adds a bit of stylish flair to it. I won't lie, when I first saw images of these boots I was sure they would be clumpy, bit and not stylish at all, but I have been pleasantly surprised.

The leather design is versatile and tough, making it a pair of boots that you 'invest' in to last you a long time. They feature two adjustable buckles to give you the most comfortable fit. They have a neoprene interior and down the side to give you the most comfort and also keep the shoe 100% waterproof. They have a slight heel to keep them looking classy, but still comfortable and practical to wear. The rubber sole makes them slip resistant as well.

With the wetter weather well and truly upon us, I have been living in these boots and I have been so pleasantly surprised by how comfortable they are. The first time I put them on, I didn't have any socks on and was so impressed by the comfort level. No rubbing, no pain, just utter bliss! Naturally you wear socks with them, but for me the true test of comfort is if I can wear them without socks (which, you can!). They don't feel heavy or bulky once you have them on either, just the opposite actually, extremely light. They are definitely waterproof too, I give it a certified tick of puddle jumping!

If I am honest, I was not 100% on these when they arrived, but I am now a convert and while they might not be a dressy or classy sandal or heel that I might wear to work, they are so versatile and I am loving them.

I also have to let you guys in on a secret! These boots are usually $299.95, but you can currently save $50 on them! Check out Swanndri to find out how. Alternatively, if you are in Canberra head on in to Canberra Workwear in either Belconnen or Gungahlin to grab a pair while they are on sale! Perfect time to grab them as a Christmas present (for yourself of course!)
