Lush Halloween

Lush Halloween Lord of Misrule

I'm sure you know by now how much I love Lush's limited edition collections, but I think Halloween is probably one of my favourite collections they do each year (closely followed by Christmas of course). So naturally, I wanted to talk you through some of my favourites from this years Halloween collection, and the products that I can't wait to try. You can grab your own online now too!

This year, Halloween has gone naked! 70% of this years collection is packaging free - meaning that Lush is playing no nasty tricks on the environment. Not only that, but this years collection is cuter and spookier than ever.

Lord of Misrule* // $7.95

Revel in your bath with this mischievous bomb that features a spicy herbal blend of patchouli and black pepper oil. Inspired by the ruler of the pagan Feast of Fools, Lord Of Misrule has a deep green exterior that slowly froths away to reveal a rich, wine-coloured centre.

Every year everyone raves about this bath bomb. Being the Lushie that I am, you would think that I have tried it too, but if I am honest with you, this is the first year I have ever had a Lord of Misrule bath bomb in my hot little hands. I am so excited to try this one out. It is a spicy and fresh scent, and it apparently makes the most gorgeous bath when the purple centre mixes with the green outside. Also it has vanilla in it, so you know it will be a winner for me!

Lord of Misrule Shower Cream* // from $19.95

A feast for the senses! Get down and earthy with this mischievous, herbal blend of patchouli, peppercorn and black pepper with an intriguing vanilla absolute sweetness. As you rub this addictive lather all over the body, organic wheatgerm oil provides a rich and creamy feel on the body to ensure your skin is on fine (and fragrant) party form. You won't be the fool after washing with this.

Again, this is another one that I am yet to try, but as it has the same scent as the bath bomb (with vanilla!!!!) I am already a fan. I also love the Lush shower creams. They are hydrating and feel heavenly on the skin. A little thicker than your typical shower gel, it looks a little bit terrifying with the green colour, but foams up extremely well to leave you feeling clean and refreshed.

Monster's Ball* // $8.95

Eye spy with this little eye something beginning with BOO! This monster mash-up of lime and neroli oils is a sure fire way to get the party started. Toss into a hot bath and watch it go. Olibanum oil relaxes and leaves you feelin’ Franken-fine all night long.

I think this is one of my favourite bath bombs every Halloween. It's just so cute and always smells amazing. The mix of citrus is honestly not what I would expect for Halloween, but it is refreshing and perfect for spring in Australia. Toss this in the bath and you will get the prettiest mix of pink and purple bath water.

Lush Halloween Monsters Ball and Goth Fairy

Goth Fairy* // $11.50

A multitude of iridescent lustres - gold, green, purple and silver - are packed tightly into this bar to adorn skin in shimmer from the first stroke. As illipe and cupuaƧu butters gently melt over the body, they soften skin and leave the ecstatically fruity scent of almond, grapefruit and bergamot.

This one was a huge favourite for me last year, I stocked up and still actually have one or two lying around at home. They are an adorable little hydrating bar, that you essentially massage all over your body like you would a body lotion. It has a slight shimmer in it which leaves your skin with this gorgeous healthy glow. It also smells soooo good. I am just a fan of grapefruit scents, they are perfect around spring time. I think these are perfect for travelling too. No stress about you body cream exploding in your suitcase, plus it takes up so little room, you'll have more space for shopping!

Ectoplasm* // $8.95

Launch this slimer into the water and let the gooey seaweed gel ooze across the surface, softening your skin as it goes. If you're feeling ghoulish, the uplifting tangerine, grapefruit and restorative litsea cubeba oils will have you in high spirits in no time.

This is a brand new bath bomb this year, and I always get excited about new bath bombs! When I tossed this in the bath, I can't say I had been hugely excited. The yellow and purple shades didn't really do a whole lot to the bath. If I am honest, I was a little let down. Sure, there was a slight purple tinge to the bath, but it didn't look that exciting. When I jumped in the bath too, I was in for a surprise. It turns out, the inside of this bath bomb is jelly!!!! It was almost like getting into a bath of slime. Which the child inside me loved. I used the jelly to massage into my skin, which left my skin feeling lovely (and not sticky) afterwards! This is definitely a winner for me. I am going to have to stock up on a couple more.

Sparkly Pumpkin* // $8.95

We all know a good bath is more important than a fancy ball! No one knew that better than Cinderella's Fairy Godmother who conjured up a golden bathing experience to help Cindy forget her troubles with magical bubbles.

The Sparkly Pumpkin is a cult favourite every year and one you can't go without, if you ask me anyway. While I will admit it's a little messy, I always enjoy a sparkly bath, especially when it smells as good as the sparkly pumpkin.

Lush Halloween Sparkly Pumpkin

Pink Pumpkin* // $8.95

Get pretty in pink and make them all wink with geranium and bergamot oils. Simply crumble under running water for a cloak of uplifting bubbles. There's no need to leave a shoe behind; a sprinkling of lustre and sultry jasmine absolute will ensure your prince charming treats you to a happy ending.

A slight twist on the cult classic, this year Lush has brought out a pretty pink version of the sparkly pumpkin. You know I am already a fan of the original Sparkly Pumpkin, so I am sure this is 110% going to be a winner too.

Lush Halloween Bewtiched

Bewitched* // $9.95

After a busy day whizzing around on a broomstick, ground yourself with olibanum and be spellbound by bergamot. Twitch your nose and breathe in this familiar blackberry scent. Whether in this life or one of the other eight, you'd be a fool to let this pass you by!

I think this is the bubble bar I am most excited about this year. I mean just look how cute it is!! It also smells incredible - Lush just seems to nail Blackberry scents. The best part about these bubble bars is that you can usually get a couple of baths out of them (depending on how many bubbles you want of course). I usually crumble about half of the bubble bar, and save the rest for another bath. With how much I think I am going to love this bath bomb, I am probably going to do just that.

Black Rose Lip Tint* / Black Rose Naked Lip Tint* // $9.95

If black is your go-to colour choice, make time to repink your style. Moisturising jojoba and kalahari melon oils ensure lips are smoochably soft. Charcoal black gives way to magenta when applied to the lips for a bright pink pout that lasts for whatever ride is in store. Moisturise and mesmerise with Sicillian mandarin and uplifting ylang ylang kisses.

This year's lip tint comes in two forms - the usual tube form we are all used to, and also a naked form, which looks a little bit like a mini soap. I love the idea that Lush is going naked with their lip products. It sits well with their philosophy and they have made the cutest little bars. Don't let the blackness of them deceive you, when you apply this tint it turns into a gorgeous bright pink! Which is hydrating and also extremely long lasting. I struggled to get the lip tint off at the end of the day, that's how well the colour lasts!

Black Rose Naked Lip Scrub* // $9.95

Prep your pout for lippy with illipe butter and extra virgin coconut oil. Caster sugar gently keeps your lips soft and smooth and organic jojoba oil marvelously moisturises, making your lips kissably soft. Swipe across the lips to buff and smooth. Your rebellion will have a cause with mood lifting ylang ylang and Sicilan mandarin oils.

The Lush lip scrubs are some of my absolute favourites and are probably the only lip scrub I really use any more. They just work extremely well - are coarse enough, but still hydrating and always leave my lips feeling so super soft. I actually really like the idea of the naked scrub. I think it will be easier to use then their pots. I have just always found the pots a little bit difficult to get the scrub out of and use. With the bar, you can just swipe it across your lips as much as you need.
So that is almost everything that is in Lush's Halloween collection this year. There are a couple of soaps and bath bombs that I missed, but it's basically it. I am so impressed with all then new products Lush has brought out to celebrate this year. Of course there are the cult favourites, which we all know and love, but some of the new bath products have really raised the bar. It is making me super excited about Christmas!

What is your favourite product from this years Halloween collection? xx
