La Roche Posay // LIPIKAR Cleansing Oil*

La Roche Posay has become a skin saviour for curating a skincare line based around one, core ingredient - thermal water. Their products have been formulated and scientifically proven to soothe and heal sensitive skin.

Enriched with shea butter, this cleanser is designed to soothe and restore skins moisture level. It is soap, alcohol and paraben free. It is formulated to leave the skin feeling supple and nourished (what sensitive skin sufferer doesn't want that?!)

This is probably one of my favourite products from the box so far. I have always loved cleansing oils, as I find that they leave my skin feeling hydrated rather than stripped. I am excited to keep using this one and already think that I will probably repurchase a full sized one!

While plant and natural cosmetics are rapidly taking off, Nominoë's philosophy truly captures nature in a bottle. Using plants from the Finistère and Côtes d'Armor region, they began to explore plants for healing properties, then developed a skincare product that gets the most out of the ingredients.

Unlike normal masks, this is a 'mask-balm', which you gentle massage into your skin. This mask works to heal dull, dehydrated and stressed skin. If you want refreshed skin, then this is what you should try!

It is super thick, sticky and oily. Three things I usually don't like in a mask. HOWEVER....waking up in the morning after it's soaked in over night and my skin feels hydrated and soft is a feeling I want every morning. I'm definitely excited about this one!!!

Try as they might, no one has been able to top the original micellar water from the iconic French brand, Bioderma. Created 20 years ago, Bioderma has become a staple for make up artists and models alike. One bottle of this micellar water is sold every 3 seconds in the world.

This make up remover is formulated to be perfectly compatible for the skin, even the most sensitive types. It can remove any make up, even waterproof, without irritating the skin, instead just leaving it feeling fresh and moisturised.

Let's be honest, it wouldn't be a French box without Bioderma and this staple from the brand. I absolutely love this micellar water and while I never use micellar water alone to remove make up, I love it as a second cleanse to ensure I have thoroughly cleaned my skin. I absolutely love this micellar water and am excited to have another, adorable mini travel bottle!

Institut Karite Paris // Lavender Hand Cream*

Your hand care regime just got a whole lot chicer. An artisan collection of luxury skincare and hair treatments, they place the vitamin rich and nourishing properties at the centre of their range.

A silky, quick absorbing cream that melts into the skin effortlessly to leave your hands feeling hydrated, nourished and protected.

I can't live without hand cream so I am always excited about using new ones. I love the size of this one, it is perfect for the hand bag and smells amazing! It is light, but nourishing and actually feels like it is getting into your skin, rather than just sitting on the surface.

Nuxe // Nuxellence Éclat Serum*

Nuxe is luxury Parisian brand known for their effective, gentle skincare. Their brand really became famous with the dry oil range, Huile Prodigieuse. They still continue to push innovative boundaries with their skincare.

With Hyaluronic Acid (a current favourite of mine), this serum works on a cellular level to energise your skin. It is extremely lightweight and works to immediately illuminate your complexion. Simply apply it after cleansing and either follow it with your choice of moisturiser, or go straight onto foundation.

This is a really lovely serum and one I have actually been applying after my face oils (because it's winter and my skin is so dry...) and before my moisturiser. It is hydrating and nourishing to my skin. Yet to notice it illuminating my skin, but it has been a really nice addition to my skincare routine through winter.

Institut Karite Paris // Macaron Hand Soap*

Rich in Vitamin A, E and F, Shea Butter, it is recommended for it's nourishing, regenerating and anti-ageing properties. Their range of luxury hand soaps add nutrients back into the skin, rather than stripping them away.

This is from a collection of petite hand soaps shaped like macrons (so cute! and oh so French). If you have dry, chapped hands, than this might be a saviour for you. Your hands are the first part of your body to show signs of ageing, so it's important that we hydrate and nourish our hands as much as possible.

This is the cutest, and best smelling hand soap I've ever soon. Using this in conjunction with their hand cream has left my hands feeling so soft and hydrated all through winter (what more could I want?!)

Laboratories Surface-Paris // Bright Now Exfoliating Clarifying Soap*

With origins in professional cosmetic care treating the most difficult complexion imperfections. One of the first brands to create a line of non-invasive skin products that achieve profound and targeted results.

To be used on the body and face, this gentle exfoliating bar helps to diminish dark spots, for flawless and luminous complexion. It is enriched with apricot kernels, known for their exfoliating properties, the skin is gently cleansed and moisturised to reveal brightened skin!

I have tried many exfoliants but never in a soap or bar form, so I was super excited about this. Now I haven't seen any brightening results yet, but I have only been using it for a short amount of time. However, my skin is feeling fantastic and soft and I can't wait to continue to see results. It is super easy to use too! More people need to make scrubs and exfoliants in soap form!

APSU // Travel Candle* (Maven Gift)

Think outer radiance and inner serenity as Maslow introduces you to a luxury Australian spa brand.

The Funaya scent is comprised of three core ingredients - Yuzu, Green Tea and Hinoki Oil. A rich and fragrant candle, Varanasi fills the air with a citrus top note, the sweetness of Jasmine and rose.

The cutest candle ever that I cannot wait to burn! I tend to not go for smaller tin candles as they don't last very long, but they are a great way to discover if you like the scent (and I think I am going to love it). I am super excited about this brand, as they have just opened a store in Canberra, so I already want to try more.

I have to say that I am really impressed with this box! It is filled with a good variety and mix of products, a little bit for every thing. French beauty is all about hydration and luminous, glowing skin which this box definitely represents. I think the fact that it came out in June/July was perfect timing too, with hydration and glowing skin a need through winter.

Coming next month The Asian Beauty edit. This one sounds amazing and I can assure you that you will not want to miss out. Make sure you head over to Maslow and subscribe now.
