Unboxed and Revitalised

8:00 am

"Me" time is something we all want more of. That half an hour, or more of time away from anyone else, to just relax and unwind from the busyness of day to day life. Peony Parcel, a new Australian subscription box, aims to deliver you 3 to 5 full size or deluxe sample beauty, bath, lifestyle and wellness products to help you enjoy some "me" time.  It is a bi-monthly subscription which aims to help you unwind. A single box costs $59.95, but if you sign up for 6 months you get much better value, plus if you follow their Instagram they always run specials, like the 10% off offer I used when I subscribed.

Anyway, I signed up for a three box subscription and I just received my last box. I have been so impressed with all three of these boxes that I have received. They feature unique Australian brands, including everything from food, to bath and body, plus some other little bonuses. My favourite part is that they are almost always all full sized products, so it really get to try everything out. I received The Revitalise Edition a few weeks ago and decided it was about time that I share my thoughts with you!

The first thing that I discovered in my little box was a little pink card holder, which I have been finding very useful, especially when I want to use a little clutch instead of my giant handbag. Such a cute, practical and unexpected start to my Peony Parcel!

Next, was probably one of my favourite items in the box! Some Popped Hopscotch Caramel, which I ate almost immediately after opening the box (and of course taking photos). Handmade, fresh to order, from Melbourne, they are sweet and delicious and a really nice addition to the box, definitely not something I expected!

From Sal Remedia there was the Daily Grind Coffee Body Scrub, which is probably the strongest scented body scrub I've ever tried. In saying that it leaves the skin feeling so soft and is definitely a good way to wake up the body and mind. Sal Remedia has so many other products from bath soaks to masks, and I am definitely glad to have discovered this brand inside the box!

This next product definitely had me super excited. Being the Face Mask queen that I am, I have been wanting to try The Mask Force face masks since I first discovered them on Instagram. So to find one inside the box was so so so SO exciting! I received the Supergirl Mask inside my box and it was one of the first products I tried. It was much of a thinner consistency than I expected, but definitely helped my skin to feel soft and glowing afterwards. It was hydrating and easy to use. I really want to try their other masks now as well!

In the most beautiful packaging, The Tea Nomad was the next product I discovered inside the Revitalise box. Encased in a beautiful little test tube, was the Shanghai Tea, a delicate white tea, a blended floral bounty of osmanthus and chrysanthemum flowers, rose petals and natural lychee essence. I am not a big tea drinker, but I'm trying to get more and more into tea. I can't comment on whether I love this or hate it, mostly because I haven't tried it too much, and also I am not the biggest tea drinker, so what I say will probably be completely different to what you might enjoy.

The last two products in this box were from two brands I have previously used and loved, so I was not at all disappointed to find some new products from them inside here. The first was from Butt Naked Skinfood, you may remember that I loved their Coffee and Epsom scrub! Well I now have their Chai Lip Scrub to use and love as well. Made from completely organic products, including coconut oil and brown sugar, it brings dry, cracked lips back to their healthy and soft selves. I love this scrub and how well it fixes my constantly dry lips. Safe to say I am getting through it much quicker than I would like...

Finally, the lucky last product was from Luma Cosmetics a natural beauty range started by Jess Hart. I received one of their cream highlighters in another box and really enjoyed it. Inside the Revitalise box was one of their Sheer Lipsticks in the shade Dusty Rose and I am obsessed. It gives a gorgeous pink glow to the lips, is hydrating and just all round, a new staple for me. If gives your lips a little punch, without being over the top or intense, perfect for every day or for the no make up days.

So there it is, another Peony Parcel box done and dusted, and I am still so amazed by this company. The lovely hand written card that comes with each box is such a gorgeous touch that I absolutely love, plus discounts to all the brands, all inside a gorgeous black box. What is not to love?!
