Hydraluron Moisture Jelly

Coming into warmer weather I've been on the hunt for a lighter moisturiser. In winter I was all for the thick moisturisers that would keep my temperamental skin happy. I no longer wish to be weighed down by these anymore, I need something light that will keep my hydrated, but not feeling heavy. When the Indeed Lab Hydraluron Moisture Jelly* showed up in my mailbox, boy was I excited!!

Indeed Lab Hydraluron Moisture Jelly*

I have never used any products from the Indeed Lab range before so I was extremely intrigued by this moisturiser, especially by the bouncy noise the jar seemed to make each time I put it down on the bench! The jelly features PatcH2O, a micro network moisture complex, and Fucogel, which leaves a protective film on the skin. This moisture jelly is designed to lock in moisture.

Let's start by talking about the packaging - the airtight, push mechanism is amazing! I've heard about these types of containers, but never used one before. Basically you push the top, the bottom of the jar will push up to make the product come out the top (good explanation Laura...). You only need one push of product to cover your whole face.

Ever since trying the Clinique Moisture Surge I have been a huge fan of gel moisturisers and the lightweight feel they have. I love how this moisturiser feels on the skin. It is so lightweight and soaks into the skin easily without any oily or sticky residue. I am unsure how this would go if you have really dry skin, but I find it the perfect amount of hydration for my normal to oily skin type. My skin feels hydrated and refreshed since I've started using this product. I've had absolutely no issue with dryness like I have in the past few weeks/months, this moisture jelly keeps my face perfectly hydrated all day and all night long!

The Verdict?

I am in love with this moisture jelly. It smells fresh (though there is almost no scent). It is hydrating, without that oily residue left on your skin. It is a lightweight moisturiser. All in all I think it will be the perfect for summer, when you need something a little lighter, that is also hydrating and gentle on the skin.
