Christmas Gift Guide: For Her

Christmas is getting closer and closer, it's just over a month away, so it is definitely time to start getting Christmas gifts ready. Don't do what I do and leave it all until the week before with no idea what you want to get for anyone. Start early! Trust me!

Don't worry! I am here to help (or at least hopefully provide something useful...) you find the perfect gift for the lovely lady, or female friend in your life! If you are stuck and have no idea what to get, look no further.

For The Beauty Aficionado...

Are you shopping for someone that is obsessed with beauty and has every thing already? Go for something that she might not have tried before, I'm thinking particularly beauty tools.

The Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit is a must have for all beauty aficionados. It is all class with a beautiful marble case. It pairs perfectly with the Ambient Lighting Edit Brush as well.

The Clarisonic Mia 2 cleansing brush is, in my eyes, a must have. It's perfect for making sure all make up is gone and preps your skin perfectly for skincare. If she already has one, stock up on some replacement brush heads for her, I promise that she will love you for it. I recommend the sensitive ones if you don't know what she prefers, they are perfect for all skin types.

While we are talking expensive tools, if you have the cash to spend or if she is an extra special lady, splash out and get her the Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer. At $599 it is a pricey purchase but is amazing in every way. If you're still on the fence stay tuned for a full review coming soon.

Beauty Aficionado's can never have too many brushes, so why not pick up a beautiful brush set from Ooh Fabulous for her. The white and rose gold is the perfect mix of class that any beauty lover will be over the moon with. They also have a free Brush Cleaner with every brush set purchase. Make sure you get some brush cleansing gel, such as the Real Techniques Cleanser so she can keep them beautiful!

Speaking of Real Techniques, help your Beauty Aficionado out by getting them the new Real Techniques Miracle Sponge Set! There is a sponge for every need and area!

Instead of a hair straightener this year, why not go for the Hairstyla! It is efficient and at $120, it is affordable too. The hair straightening brush is starting to become a hit and this brush works a treat. I promise your Beauty Aficionado would not be disappointed with this gift!!

The Perfect Gift Set...

Christmas is the time when all the best valued sets come out. Whether your buying these for someone special, or just for yourself, here are some of my favourites.

Benefit has released some amazingly good value sets for Christmas. If you, or the person you are shopping for, loves Benefit than these are perfect. My favourite set is the Dolly Darling set. For just $78 the set includes a full size Hoola, Roller Lash and POREfessional, as well as fun size Gimme Brow. That is like $150 worth of product for just $78. Amazing.

Got a friend or family member who love natural skincare? Pick up one of the Dr. Bronner's Gift Packs. They have such a great variety of natural soaps, lotions and skincare. Such a great variety of products for any skin type, but especially sensitive skin!

I have to include some bath gift sets, because I loveeee a good bath. First off, I would totally recommend purchasing your loved one a gift set from Soak Society! From $27.95, there is a gift set for every budget and bath lover!!

Another good bath set, of course comes from Lush! They have so many good gift sets that are released at this time of year. There is one for every budget as well. I am going to share one that is on the cheaper side, mostly because it is freakin adorable! The Ruddy gift set includes the Butterball (a great staple of Lush!) and Shoot for the Stars bomb, my absolute favourite bath bomb from the Christmas range!!

Best Beauty Gifts Under $20...

Looking at the first category going 'oh no...definitely not...I don't have that kinda cash to spend' than this category might be more to your liking. There are so many great gifts you can pick up for less than $20, Christmas doesn't have to break the bank! You could also pick up a couple of these products to make a beauty hamper for the one you love as well!

Beach Rd. Naturals make absolutely beautiful Body Bars, I've been using a few of these recently and I definitely want to pick up a couple more for Christmas gifts for some lucky ladies in my life. They are made from Organic Coconut Oil and are perfect for all skin types. At $8.95 they are also super affordable. My top pick is the Coconut and Kaffir Lime.

If you're looking for a good palette without the expensive price tag, than seriously look no further than W7 in the Nude Eyeshadow Palette! For just $10, it is great quality and perfect for the beauty beginning or pro. Highly recommend!

One of my favourite products from 2016 has been the Belle Botanicals Green Clay Mask and I would definitely recommend picking this up for any lovely lady. For just $15.95 it will leave your skin feeling amazing. Definitely recommend.

Give The Gift Of Reading...

I am a complete and utter book worm, I love to read and I also love to give the gift of reading to anyone I can. There is a book for everyone. If you're not shopping for a Beauty Lover, pick up a book, no one could be sad about that!

Got a Harry Potter Fan? Pick up the new Harry Potter and The Chamber of Secrets Illustrated Edition. I have the Philosophers Stone Illustrated Edition and it is absolutely beautiful. I really want to get the whole set now!

Maggie O'Farrell's This Must Be The Place is amazing. A lovely story about what we leave behind in order to find out place within the world. So well written and easy to read. It is one of my favourite books.

Looking for a Biography? I'd recommend Amy Schumer's The Girl With The Lower Back Tattoo, she is witty and funny and the book is a great read.

One for the beauty lover - Zoe Foster Blake's Amazinger Face is definitely on my Christmas Guide. Perfect for young women, or older; beauty experts or novices. It has some great tips and tricks for everyone.

Shopping for a teenager? There are so many good Young Adult books out at the moment. Some of my top picks include: Jennifer Niven's Holding Up The Universe and also Emily Henry's The Love That Split The World.

I hope this little guide helped you get a couple of ideas about what you might pick up for that lucky lady in your life. There are so many good gifts this year, it is hard to narrow it down. Stay tuned - coming Wednesday is part two, the Christmas Gift Guide: For Him.

Have you started your Christmas shopping yet? xx
