The Body Shop At Home

I am a Body Shop lover, and have been for a long time! Last year a friend of mine convinced me to run a Body Shop at Home Party. You can party with Body Shop at Home?! That was my initial thoughts too! I've just had my second party, last Friday, and wanted to share the fun that I had with you guys!

Basically, there are a number of people who have signed up to be a consultant with The Body Shop and they organise parties, much like Tupperware or Arbonne, where you can try all the different products and then purchase them. There are a couple of different types of parties you can have. I hosted a facials party, with face masks and face creams and make up, all the good stuff! Directly after my facial party, my mum hosted a foot party - foot scrubs and massages, oh my god it was amazing. They are so much fun, all you have to do is get a couple of girlfriends together and then you get pampered and eat some food and relax!

Facial Party

Like I said, I hosted a facial party where we got to try some of the face products that the Body Shop sells. We started with a game, to win a free prize (which mum won of course) and then went on to clean our faces with the Camomile Scrumptious Butter, my all time favourite cleanser! We then got to sample whichever face mask we wanted, I went with Seaweed of course because I love a good clay mask! Our consultant had almost every skin care product as well and let us decide which ones we wanted to try. From Drops of Youth, to the new Drops of Light, we tried it all! The best thing about these parties is that you do get to sample anything you want, so you can find what works for you and what doesn't. As someone with sensitive skin, sampling products in a situation like this takes the stress off when it comes to purchasing something because you already know if your skin likes it or not.

Pedicures and Foot Massages

Mum's party involved us sampling foot scrubs and the iconic Bath Milk, as well as a range of the body butters. It basically meant we sat for 15 minutes relaxing, soaking our feet and chatting, while drinking bubbly and eating a smorgasbord of food! Best. Party. Ever. My dog was a little jealous of all the foot though...

If you know someone that is a Body Shop at home consultant you should seriously book a party. There is no stress for people to buy things, it's just a great way to sample products and find ones that work for you. Plus if you're a host you get great host rewards, like 50% off products, free products and free shipping. The order that I received included the following:

In total I spent $85, but received almost $200 work of products. I think that is awesome if you ask me! I say that there isn't any pressure to buy anything, but the more your friends buy, the more benefits you get ;) All in all it is so relaxing and such a great way to sample different products from the Body Shop. Jump on board if you haven't already!
