Mecca Maxima and Sephora Hauls

10:12 am

I KNOW, I'M MEANT TO BE ON A SPENDING BAN BUT I WENT TO SYDNEY AND I COULDN'T HELP MYSELF....So of course I now have to share the things I bought with all of you to justify my spending! So off and away we go!

Mecca Maxima

I justified these purchases by saying I was going to buy them at the end of June before I went away anyway....

I actually bought this before I went to Sydney after my free make up application. The make up artist used it and it looked amazing so I caved...plus I love Nars lipsticks. I'm still kind of unsure about the colour, it's a little more pink than I would like, but I get so many compliments from it so I can't complain I guess?

So I can tick one of the chocolate palettes of my beauty wish list! This palette is amazing, there are a lot of browns though, more than I would've liked, but hey it's a beautiful palette. I know a few people have asked me about it since I bought it, so if you're interested I can do a swatch post later this week? Let me know in the comments!

In all honesty, this wasn't even on my radar until I was in the store and the girl demonstrated it to me. For glitter eyeshadow it is AMAZING! It makes your glitter eyeshadows as pigmented as they look on the palette and last soo long. I am loving this eye primer at the moment, way more than my Urban Decay one.

Mecca sent me three mini sized masks in a recent order after I thought I was ordering something completely different. Anyway I got a refund and got to keep the masks (WIN!!!) and I instantly fell in love with this mask, it is so hydrated and has been amazing on my dry, irritated skin lately. I have been using it morning and night so I decided I needed to invest in a full size one. This product is truly amazing, keep your eyes out for it in my May favourites!

Everyone raves about this products and when I saw it and remembered it was only $10 I picked it up! I'm really enjoying this, I've been using it as a make up setting spray and spritzing it on my skin throughout the day to try and keep my dry skin hydrated. It is really refreshing and I love the scent. I haven't noticed a huge difference in my skin, but it's refreshing to use, so that's a plus!!

Sephora

I had never stepped foot into a Sephora in Australia before this trip, so I decided it was fine that I bought a few things...

Sephora Brush Cleanser
I have never owned a brush cleanser, I usually just wash my brushes with shampoo, and this spray was on those displays right before the checkout, so I just grabbed it. It definitely doesn't give me as good of a clean as cleaning them with shampoo, but it is good for a quick clean before you use them, in case you are worried about any hygiene stuff.

Marc Jacobs Decadence Roller Ball
Decadence is my favourite scent at the moment, ever since dad bought it back from Singapore for me for Christmas. It is such a mature scent, in my mind, and I feel so classy and stylish when I wear it. I have been trying to decide what to do about perfume when I go overseas and I'd been on the hunt for a good rollerball. When I saw the roller ball stand in Sephora I was so excited that I almost bought ever Marc Jacobs scent, plus some others. I restrained myself and just bought Decadence, but I was so pleased that I couldn't pass it down!

This was a free sample that the cashier (who was very disconnected and kind of rude, so the free sample redeemed her slightly...) threw into my bag. I was pumped about this, I've never tried Kat Von D but have heard amazing things. I'm yet to try this super bright red lipstick, but I'm pumped to. I also saw a friend wearing the Gothica lipstick a little while ago and the glitter in it is amazing and it has now made it to the top of my beauty wish list!

I didn't buy this in store, but ordered it online as soon as I got the email from Sephora saying that It Cosmetics was now online, which means I've ticked off another product on my beauty wish list! OH MY GOD IT'S INCREDIBLE! It is the perfect consistency, covering blemishes, but it's not heavy like a foundation AND it is so hydrating. I've been using it in place of foundation on my forehead, which is still flaky and it keeps my skin hydrated all day. Everyone raves about this product and I'd been dying to get my hands on it and I am so glad I did, it is everything I could want and more, it is the tinted moisturiser/CC I have been dreaming of! I'm now adding the Confidence in a Cream Transforming Moisturiser to my wish list!

There in concludes my little Sydney haul. They were all things I had been wanting to get my hands on, and now I have them all and it's exciting and I'm so pleased! Have you guys tried any of these? I'd love to hear what you think of them! Also let me know if you want more detailed reviews on any of them in the future!!

Laura over and out xx
